I have visited this place on numerous occasions and it has mostly been a good experience. There had been a couple of incidents of the food not been cooked enough resulting in a complaint but these issuer were quite a while ago. And were resolved. Having never stopped in the hotel part I can not comment. But on visiting the venue when live acts performed found it very relaxing and entertaining and run to a reasonable standard.
Always nice to go here, today especially as the member of staff who served us (a young lady) was particularly polite and attentive. Really stand out customer service, food was nice too.
Nice pub, very clean. Staff were very helpful & attentive. The only problem was the music which I understand the staff have no control over, but we were there for a wake and firework by Katy Perry came on & Mardy Bum by the Arctic monkeys which we didn't think were the most appropriate song choices. All in all a brilliant pub with nice food and excellent staff
Lovely little pub in Chesterfield. Staff were friendly and professional. Pleasant one night stay. Can't complain. Classic pub with rooms. Good food for its price. Will definitely visit again for pleasure not for work next time. :)
Meal well presented, good selection of vegetables. I had roast beef, my husband enjoyed the turkey. However, the meal was luke warm. Rather a long wait for the couple next to us for their dessert. This was in spite of it not being as busy as I have seen
before. Overall we would come again.
Service was inconsistently good! Sometimes they were cheery, and sometimes inconsiderate! However, the food was lovely and definitely worth a visit!
One of the best curries I have had in a while. Menu has a wide selection. Service is fast and friendly.
The double whammy burger was delicious but huge could not finish the chips also ordered the side of homemade sliced slaw which was really nice. My wife ordered the waffle waffle chicken which she enjoyed but did not eat it all as there was a lot of food. Our two kids also are for a £1 (before 5pm) which was a bonus
Attended a wedding do in their function room. The staff were polite and the wedding went without a hitch. Nice venue
