lovely food and atmosphere. 4 adults and 6 children in our party. staff were attentive and helpful, reasonably priced too

My biggest issue with this restaurant is its ambience: located in the basement it is susceptible to becoming cold. When I visited, the place was cold and quite unpleasant. The kitchen staff seem to be oblivious to the fact that the guests can see what they do. I witnessed how they convened in one corner of the kitchen and started making jokes involving smelling their armpits. They should wear cover for those longhairs that can easily shed into peoples' food. The waiting staff on the other hand were professional and well rehearsed, the only positive feature of this restaurant. I found the food mediocre.

As a regular at the Olive, I've always loved the food, the lovely staff and the fantastic atmosphere. Definitely worth a go, best carbonara around!

Nice atmosphere, good steak and very good variety of bottled beers for a restaurant. I will be going back.
