About Oliver Cromwell'S House
Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector of England, lived in Ely for 10 years and his house is now open 7 days a week, recreating his life and promoting his legacy
Oliver Cromwell'S House Description
Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector of England, lived in Ely for 10 years. Today the House, the only surviving former Cromwell residence other than Hampton Court, has been recreated to show how his family would have lived in the mid 17th Century.
But who was he and why is he so important to British history?
"He was King in all but name"

This beautiful house offers a full range of packages to groups, including guided tours with costumed guides.
Times
Open all year round with the exception of 25th and 26th December and 1st January.
Summer Hours
1st April - 31st October
10. 00am - 5. 00pm daily, including Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays
Last admission is one hour before closing
Winter Hours
1st November - 31st March
11. 00am - 4. 00pm daily, including Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays
On Christmas Eve, we are open 11. 00 am - 1. 30 pm

Admission Prices for Oliver Cromwell's House from 1st April 2016
Adult: £4. 90
Child: £3. 40 (under 6's free)
Family: £14. 00 (2 adults and 3 children under 16)
Normal admission price excludes Event Days when differing prices may be charged
Admission includes use of a FREE audio guide handset to guide you around Oliver Cromwell's House and help "bring the experience to life"
Last entry admission to Oliver Cromwell's House is 1 hour before closing.
Admissions may also be limited subject to pre-booked groups visiting the house.
