What a brilliant place to eat. Staff are super friendly and food is amazing (especially the brownies).

Visited today with a couple of friends. The ambience is great, the service excellent and the food...wow. My carrot and coriander soup was an absolute delight and the vegetable linguini which I had for mains was beautiful. My friends, one of whom had quiche, the other poached eggs on toast, said much the same about their meals. Three very happy customers...AND you serve Northern Bloc ice cream too ...what's not to like? :) Merry Christmas all

Our 1st time in Ripon & thankfully fell into this little gem - eclectic style, very friendly staff, Deli & homebaking - eggs royale, breaded Brie, stone baked pizzas. And the best coffee I've had for ages :)

One of the best places I've been to in North Yorkshire. An absolute delight: from the warm welcome to the honest, tasty food.

My brother in law commented the beef burger was perfection - juicy and tender. A friend said her veggie burger was the best she had ever had.

Can't wait to find another excuse to go to Ripon.

Loved the food here, made even better by sitting in the sun trap of the courtyard...try the lemon tart, absolutely delicious!

I visited this café on Friday, as recommended by a local, and I am so glad I did! Service was spot on, the waiting staff were very efficient and made you feel most welcome. I had the quiche which was so light it was nearly a soufflé; it was delicious! I would definitely recommend and will be back when I next visit Ripon!

I loved my hot chocolate finished off with a love heart so cute. My husband had the meringue lemon flavour with cream and I had a scone. It was very nice a lovely mix of all ages enjoying some conversational time

Had a lovely lunch here yesterday with my friend and my 18 month old son. He demolished his breadsticks and humous, my friend enjoyed scrambled eggs and I had a modified roasted veg ciabatta. My son and I are vegetarian and dairy free and were well fed!! Fab cakes including scrummy vegan options!

Had a fantastic breakfast in the tranquil courtyard. The food was amazing and the staff excellent. A must for any hungry person on Ripon.

Great vegetarian options; loved my veggie breakfast with grilled halloumi , mushrooms, tomatoes and humous toast .

After terrific tea and cakes there yesterday afternoon we went back this morning for a brilliant brunch. Gorgeous friendly staff. Couldn't fault it!

Good atmosphere with friendly efficient staff. The coffee was excellent. We visited on a Sunday - were the Portuguese custard tarts baked the day before? We’ll have to call again on another day to check!
