Would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff and Oliver's,we came yesterday to celebrate my Dads 60th and the food and staff were amazing all day.



Everyone had a fabulous time and nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. Thank you for a memorable day we will definitely be back again soon.

We wandered down to the wine bar at 16:00 for a booking at 17:00 in the restaurant.

Tried one of the gin boxes which went down very well.

Not overly busy when we first arrived but was filling up by the time we left having spent almost 4 hrs there.

Couple of parties going on but plenty of polite and friendly staff to look after us and everyone else.

Definitely recommend. Will be back.

We visited for the first time. The restaurant was spotlessly clean with fresh linin napkins. The staff were so helpful and were attentive without being intrusive. We had the lunch menu which was so very well priced. The food was quite simply delicious. It was really tasty and presented beautifully. We all left saying that we can't wait to go again because it was such a lovely experience. Well done to all the staff.

We had a lovely family meal with my Mum and Dad for Mother’s Day. The roast dinners were excellent and the delicious desserts were beautifully presented. The staff are really friendly and we had excellent service. We have eaten here twice now and will definitely be back soon!

So last night (Sunday) we turned up quite late for a Sunday but we’re welcomed with lovely friendly no problem smiles, we were so impressed with the service of all the staff especially Anett and the tall charming waiter who was also fabulous, in fact all the staff were great and were very knowledgeable about the menu. We love it in the lovely bright restaurant and wish you could have a just a drink in there as we find the atmosphere much brighter and vivacious in there compared to the wine bar area.

The food was amazing as was the gorgeous Vidal wine and we thought the price was so reasonable. We will certainly be back, we had been a few times before and it has definitely come on so much since, the music was lovely and relaxing also. The only negative I would say is that now it’s a very lovely high class restaurant the only thing that spoils it are the weird Oliver Twist pictures everywhere 😂 otherwise it’s pretty perfect and I love the toilets too. Thanks for a fabulous night and sorry for walking in so late, we loved it 😍

Our party of 6 had a lovely celebratory meal last Wednesday �.

All had a great evening and we can’t thank the staff enough. Even getting us a specialty latte at the end was appreciated.

absolutely love it here .. food was lovely the waiter was a very nice polite young lad ....the singer was amazing really made the night...but the only reason i gave it a 4 **** is because of the group of young KIDS that were there ...kinda down graded the place...glasses being smashed drinks being spilt on the dance floor just a bit loud for this kind of establishment.....

What a shame as a lovely restaurant and atmosphere, lovely waiter/waitresses, gorgeous food but their service, bar/kitchen with staff lack of communication between teams let them down

I never write reviews but feel I have to here as we’ve had a similar experience twice! The food is lovely but the service is very slow in the afternoon! There were lots of waitresses and waiters standing around chatting with very few tables in, yet we waited a long time for our plates to be cleared and I had to go over and ask for a drinks order after waiting over 15 minutes. We were informed that the cocktails we ordered would take some time as there was only one person on the bar, but we thought 30 minutes wait was a bit extreme for 6 cocktails. Not sure I would go again due to the service.

Wasn’t necessarily going to leave a review on here after leaving one on Trip Advisor but as my Mum did and she was subjected to some rather bitter and nasty comments by the manager, I will review again.



We booked a table and were sat down fine and the waitress was understanding that we were waiting for someone else to turn up and this was accommodated. We waited half an hour for drinks (we timed it), we understand places get busy and that there is the other side to the bar but we feel this was slightly too long to wait for a round of drinks which included 2 pints, a Diet Coke and two Bellinis.



As always the menu was lovely with lots to choose from. My mum found a hair embedded in her Black Pudding Scotch Egg started. Not on top of it, actually cooked within it. This was longer and darker than any of our hairs and my boyfriend did see people in the kitchen without any hairnets on. My mum very discreetly told the waitress about it who did apologise and offer a fresh one. As we had finished our starters, my mum declined but did have to ask for it off the bill as this wasn’t offered and no one from management came over to apologise or offer that.



The main came which was fine; I wouldn’t bother with the chips with truffle oil and Parmesan shavings. They are just chips with the tiniest bit of melted cheese.



Overall, an average meal that wasn’t worth the £250 for a birthday meal. We eat out a lot and enjoy eating out but this just wasn’t good enough for the money etc. What made this experience worse was the disgusting attitude of the manager jumping on reviews made by my family, even going so far as to state my mums full name on Trip Advisor without her permission. It is not in our interest to not support small businesses; in fact we would rather which is why we choose Oliver’s as a place for a birthday. But feedback is feedback, the defensive nature and the rude and unprofessional replies would be enough to put me off and tell other people to avoid too. Such a shame as the place has so much potential.

Food was shocking for my taste being veggie was going to be very testing. ordered gnocchi sent it back dry very boring and not nice asked fir the salmon which was lovely never ate nothing else other than the salmon as felt I was complaining to much. Was horrified to find that I was expecting to be paying fir a meal I sent back and for it yto be replaced put a downer on my over all experience here. After our table of 5 paying Over £100 on food and drunk. Left me feeling royal peed off to say the least

After looking for somewhere to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, I decided to book this place as a surprise after hearing good things. However, there was a big party in and so the menu was very limited as they had run out of most items on there (not having been told this before we sat down). The wrong drink was brought for my husband. Then the wrong starter for me (I had ordered the goats cheese). So after waiting 20 mins for my correct starter to arrive and my husband sat with his going cold, not wanting to start without me, my goats cheese came just on a bed of leaves with no crostini??

Mains were not exactly our first choice and the potatoes and Yorkshire pudding were rock solid!!

Thinking we would order a dessert as we were still hungry and not satisfied, we were told they could only offer ice cream as they had run out of all other desserts. A terrible experience and ruined our first anniversary �
