About Omeara

A new home for live music, creative events and clubnights in London Bridge’s refreshed railway arches.

Omeara Description

A new home for live music, creative events and clubnights in London Bridge’s newly refreshed railway arches.

With the sites heritage seeped in a background of music and late night parties, OMEARA will be carrying on the baton with a lovingly curated line-up of events, put together by the good people at Communion Music. We’ll be providing a creative events space for everything from the best emerging live acts to renowned DJ’s right in the heart of London.

Our pop-up friends in the arch next door offer a huge variety of top quality food. You can grab yourself a bite to eat, see us at the bar, get a booth with your friends or come and check out the show that night.

Carry on into the early hours with our line-up of clubnights, drinks deals and our late licensed outdoor terrace. We’re only 5 minutes from London Bridge, Southwark and Bermondsey stations, and a 10 minute stroll from Waterloo.

There’s no excuse not to come along for a tipple or two. Whether that’s in the daytime, evening or early morning, that’s up to you. . .

CHARLOTTE performs her new single 'I Tell Lies' live at OMEARA.

User

Went to see Will Heard. Lovely small venue so you can be close to the stage. Staff were helpful and friendly. The food stalls outside sell lovely food so you eat before the show. I will look out for other shows here, we had a lovely time

User

Went to see Rachael Yamagata, she was awesome as usual and the acoustics were spot on. When we first arrived one of the bar tenders offered us a guided tour, he showed us all the areas and explained how the venue is layed out and used. Excellent venue and all the staff are friendly and helpful, you don't feel like they just want your money, they want you to enjoy being there. Highly recommended!

User

Spectacularly beautiful, intimate venue (which is an overused phrase but in this case absolutely true). All the staff from the cloakroom to the coat-check to the bar were really lovely and friendly. It's such a great experience to go to a gig and instead of being booted out into the night straight afterwards, ducking through a door to a gorgeous bar to carry on dancing. If only all venues were like this...!

User

Saw Will Heard perform last night was phenomenal! Staff were great the gentleman on the door at 8.50 was a legend and the gentleman at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming! The venue is amazing cute cosy bars with the best playlist. Old school soul & new jack swing which was at the perfect volume so you could still have a conversation and jam to the tunes. Loved the vibe & the eclectic group of people, if you haven't been check it out.

User

Saw Mandolin Orange here on Fri night. Venue was amazing, sound quality was fabulous, all staff were friendly & made the experience exceptional! Top, top small venue!!

User

I've been there last night for P.D. Liddle gig and it was truly amazing. The place is very nice, the sound is great and people are very nice. Next time I come to London, I'll definitely go there again.

Also, yesterday I met a very nice guy with whom I chatted for a bit. Unfortunately I didn't get his name. He was with his mom at the gig so if someone could help me find his name that would be very nice. Cheers.

User

I'm so happy this venue is walking distance from my home. This is a fantastic live space, which is much needed in the London Bridge area. I was seriously impressed by the main concert space. Acoustically great and intimate. The DJ was playing some great indie/rock/electronic tunes in the bar area too, and the staff were all polite and welcoming. Congrats, guys!

User

I have an invisible disability and having a particularly rough time lately with my hips, but decided to leave the crutch at home for once, and after a while, explained to the bar staff a hip injury and asked if there is anywhere to sit (bear in mind this is a standing room only venue) the fantastic barman just went and got me a stool! Brilliant!!!

I would definitely return just knowing this welcome alone!

User

Great venue. Amazing space and really easy to get to

User

Exactly what London needs a switched on live music venue, policy great sound. Food and proper drinks not chucked at you five deep in a barn like venue. Very sophisticated and a joy to be there BRAVO

User

Came to the O’Meara for the Sons of Bill gig on Tuesday. What a wonderful venue and thanks to all the staff we met who were all very friendly and efficient. Best small venue I have ever been to in either London or Paris (I live in France). Keep up the great work in helping to keep live music alive. Hope to be back in the future.

User

Came to see an absolutely amazing performance from Tennis, in a great venue which I will definitely look to return in the future.

In absolutely awful circumstances, we could not have asked for a better venue to be stuck in for several hours. The staff were calm and helpful where they could be, and the party carried on for hours. Thank you for keeping us safe!!

User

Came down to London for the Starcrawler gig last week and rather fell in love with this venue. Aside from the cracking gig, super sound & lighting and clear sightlines the venue itself is beautiful and all the staff are just so wonderfully friendly and chilled. The security, desk and bar staff were all so natural, welcoming and friendly making the whole gig experience all the better for it and I had a great time. Gigs as they should be, others could learn from this place. Thank you so much everyone at Omeara.

User

At last.... a music venue in London that is creative and innovative with a team of professionals that not only are professional but are really fantastic. Omeara has raised the standards for all music venues.

User

At last, an intimate and ambient music venue for South London to rival the Moth Club further east or even the Bowery Ballroom NYC, with the added benefit of air con.

Something for everyone including a well thought through outside space competing for attention.

A special thank you to the lovely Keith and his other super helpful colleagues. We'll be back very very soon!

User

Saw Amy Macdonald there last night and she was amazing. The venue is lovely and sound was great, the staff were really friendly especially at the cloak room. The only let down for me was they didn't have any proper beers on tap otherwise it would have been 5starts all the way.

User

Nice intimate venue with good sound and light: BUT arrived 20 mins before doors, was virtually at the front of the queue and was let in 40 minutes after the time on the ticket, so slow we missed the first band. That’s unacceptable.

--

As an edit, had a really constructive chat with venue management - I think they're now aware that things didn't go well with this first for the venue, but now they're armed to deal with this kinda issue in the future.

So go check out this great new venue in London.

User

I went to OMEARA for the first time with friends last night to see Gangly give an amazing performance in a gorgeous space and had a splendid time. The sound quality was absolutely brilliant - I think I felt some of my internal organs vibrating during Lea Porcelain's support set. One remarkable aspect of the experience was paying £6 for a pint for the first time in London. Given we were seeing an Icelandic band, I guess that price was appropriate...

User

barman didnt know what a lager top was when i showed him he tells me thats called a shandy, good to know your bar staff are experienced, on top of the price for it not good at all.

nice place though.
