Wonderful menu with great service in a rustic setting. These guys have nailed it on how to be a good restaurant. Loved the food, the view is fabulous and as a local I will be returning and recommending to all. �

What an amazing place!! The food was outstanding and the staff very friendly. I had squid to start which is by far the best I've ever had, my partner had chicken wings which were very nice. For mains we both had the pork belly rib and I would say the best I've ever had. We had chocolate brownie for desert which was amazing too. Would definitely recommend to all and will defiantly be going back. Well done OTR, spot on �

What an amazing find! Great Food and service. 10/10 would totally recommend. I've eaten at many restaurants and can honestly say this rates top 2 and I've eaten at mitchelin star restaurants. Only criticism deserts, good but not great compared to mains.

We visited back in August this year. Our Sons choice of where to eat and what a great choice. Staff could do enough. Food was amazing and we had the table near the window which is just a stunning view. 100% recommend this place and will visit again.

Visited this fab restaurant for lunch today, Peter (my hubby) thoroughly enjoyed his Mussels and my garlic bread was delicious, excellent table service by James! .....so tonight we are having our evening meal at On The Rocks Torquay, to carry on the celebrations for his birthday 💕 FIVE STARS for this great restaurant!

Visited the restaurant last evening. Wow!! It was just fabulous.... can’t fault the great service from the staff. Even a phone call to let us know that all visa machines had gone down in the uk. Food to die for!!!! Had the custard cream desert..... omg amazing! As a little feedback I would add a little custard to the other side of the ice cream. Just a tad dry but would have again. Thanks everyone fab job xxx

This was our 1st time here and we loved it. We arrived for dinner at 9pm and were greeted by friendly happy staff regardless of the heat and the later dining time. We were seated by the window (we couldn't believe our luck!) The service was excellent and again very friendly. The food was amazing and very well priced. We were not rushed and the whole experience was lovely. Thank you to all the staff working hard to achieve this. We will be back �

Lovely place to enjoy a cosy night out or a celebratory meal, ambience is lovely. Service was very good, polite and assertive. And an excellent choice of food and the standard of the meals was magnificent, we all thoroughly enjoyed our 3 courses and our varied tastes were all catered for! We will Definitely return.

I cannot believe how great this place was. Had the sea bream and it was nothing short of spectacular. Having eaten fish all over the world for many years, I wasn't expecting to be impressed like this. Perfect service. Blown away. Booking again. Wow!!!

Beautiful food. Brixham has some great places and this is definitely in the top 5. The Pork was beautiful - place was superbly designed and good space between tables. Our dog was welcomed - just a shame we couldn’t take our dog in the evening, although I understand if people have a psychotic dog! The owners brother was brilliant FOH as well. Nice to have more options than just fish. Good luck guys - see you next year :-)

Amazing roast today, thank you guys. We had a family meal out so there was 12 of us.

A delicious choice of, I think, 4 meat roasts, I chose the beef brisket and it was just fab, tasty vegetables and of course great roasties.

The best roast I have had in a long time and £14- well worth it ��

Food was average but we were told the dessert selection, but nobody could be bothered to take our order so we left and had a supermarket ice cream instead...much cheaper

Food was ok for the price but portions were minimal, had the monkfish tail, mostly skin and bone, struggled to separate these from the little edible bits, so still hungry when finished, service a little impersonal, wine was overpriced.
