After my initial enquiry with Mike I decided to purchase my new MTB bike from on yer bike. This was mainly down to how well my enquiry was taken & the advice I received. I have to say from start to finish the whole experiance has been outstanding & ended up with my new bike arriving 2mths earlier than expected, I wouldnt hesitate in recommending this shop to anyone. 10/10 😁

Brilliant showroom and selection of bikes from e-bikes to kids bikes. Staff are very welcoming and cater for whatever you need. Overall the knowledge from the staff is very impressive and i would definitely recommend onyerbike. If you are just there to browse they will not pester you, but if you go to buy they will give you every little detail you could ever need to know so that you get the best for your money.

I have been using both the Blackburn and Burnley store for a couple of years and have been happy until these past few months.
I took my bike in for a service a few weeks ago so it would be ready for my Ironman triathlon event which is on the 16th of July ( next weekend) When it came back the first time I used it was my commute to work, which is approx 8 miles. I notice a grinding noise on the chain within the first 1mile and when I got out of my saddle going up a hill around 7 miles, I heard a intermediate metal on metal noise. I took it back for it to be looked at on a couple of occasions but nothing was fixed. I received a phone call from the mechanic and he basically said" there is a rubber bit missing on the front derailleur which was there when he serviced it and he also told me that the piece has been ordered in and there's a backlog of ordering. (They knew I needed the bike in good working order a few days before the 16th of July) I was told the part will come on the 10th of July. I told them I will drop my bike off on the 8th of July ( which is today) as I'm working on the 10th and 11th and I will pick it up on the 12th. They were fine with that.
Dropped it off this morning only to find out the part won't arrive till the 20th of July. Nobody thought to contact me showing bad communication skills. I was fuming by this point.
I've been a loyal customer for a few years now, I have spent a few thousands of pounds in that time. Unfortunately I'm really disappointed in the service I have received. My bike went in for a service over a month ago and is still not riding correctly after ive taken my bike back time and time again. They made me feel like I'm riding my bike wrong as they've made it clear that it's definitely not their fault.
As the shops called on yer bike, that's what I will be doing once this part arrives. I won't be using this company again as I feel I've been let down.

Up date. It's now the 21/7/2017 the part was suppose to be in yesterday, once again I had to contact them because nobody could be bothered to contact me. I was told it will be sometime in August before the part will arrive. 😡 I asked for them to give me the name of the part so I can find it myself but didn't. I think it was the 30th of May I 1st took in my bike in. It's now July the 22nd and still waiting. Great service On yer Bike. 👍🏻

Great place with friendly, honest staff. Thoroughly recommend. There's none of the pushy sales that you might get from other shops and certainly none of the ineptness from 'mainstream' bike shops!

Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy, terrible after sales care and laughable workshop loading.
My new bike needed a new replacement chain before I had even ridden it due to a twisted link so it was back in the shop the day after picking it up where they had it for four days, I also asked them to refit the dropper seat post cable which was hanging out of the frame and curled up like a pigs tail !
After two rides the following week the gears decided to slip and not change and the dropper seat post started with an annoying fault having play up and down. It was returned to the shop where they had it for ten days before even looking at it. It was then decided that the dropper post couldn't be fixed and needed to be returned to the manufacturer. I was asked if the rear mech adjuster screw had been messed about with as it had wound itself, it had not been touched. Why it couldn't have been looked at for five minutes to decide it couldn't be repaired rather than sitting there for 10 days is beyond me.
At this point I had owned the bike for 26 days and On Yer Bike had had it for 14 days of that time.
Two weeks later I was told that the seat post could not be fixed so a replacement was being sent out. Bike was dropped off again and the next day I returned to collect it only to be given a bill for fitting the seat post !!
After saying I didn't think I should have to pay anything seeing as the bike was less than two weeks old when the fault was reported and had only been ridden twice I was told that "that's how things work, the manufacturer will replace parts and you have to pay the labour" .
I'd have thought that they would do their best to keep a customer that they had already messed about happy but no.
Won't be using them again and definitely wont be recommending them to anyone else.

Great bunch of guys here. Will never go back to halfords again.. Or as i now call it "the joke shop" .. On yer bike... Better prices.. Better staff... Better experience well worth a visit!!

Great shop. Was looking for a Whyte and these guys got me what I wanted within a week, other shops were telling me 8 weeks. Great service and very helpful, will definitely use again.

I bought a bike & found the service top class, I took the bike in for its free service, at a time of my convenience.
I ended up buying another bike for the wife & the guys threw in a few, well appreciated freebies.
I would thoroughly recommend On Yer Bike to friends & family

Avoid like the plague....

The mechanic sent me away with a broken freehub 3 times, he also said a problem with a folk was down to me not doing the QR tight enough (it ended up being a faulty folk after a lot of messing around) and another new bike that was so badly indexed it was unrideable, sale staff give misleading information and for my trouble some old guy "the owner" told me I should shop elsewhere......

Overall VERY POOR SERVICE and OVER PRICED but on a plus point because of this I found Ride On in Rawtenstall which is where I should have gone in the 1st place.....

Great guys who know their stuff big style.
Bought my Scott bike from them and it's brill.
They do seem to enjoy trying to sell me toffee LOL.
