Redcon-1 Zombie movie is coming to Plymouth's Vue Cinema for 1 Day ONLY with a screening and Q&A on the Sunday 14th of October.

Q&A after the screening will be with Director Producer Chee Keong Cheung along with Hollywood Producer Carlos Gallardo who has created such films as Desperado and El Mariachi. Mark Strange will also be attending, he has worked alongside Jackie Chan and on Films like Chr...istopher NolanŌĆÖs Batman Begins.
This would be a great opportunity for local people to meet the above and ask questions along with watching the Movie Redcon-1.

Ladies and gentlemen, please raise your glasses and say three cheers for officially THE BEST restaurant in the whole of Devon ŌĆ” PlymouthŌĆÖs very own The Fig Tree at 36!
The restaurant in Admiralty Street, Stonehouse, was named the countyŌĆÖs best restaurant at the Food and Drink Devon awards this week. ItŌĆÖs an amazing story for owners Ryan Marsland and Tanya Poole, who only took over the premises at what used to be The Samphire Bush just over a year ago.
IŌĆÖve been to The Fig Tr...ee @ 36 a couple of times and popped back again today by way of celebration. Why not?
It was a sunny day, and they had local seafood on the menu! I had Cornish sardines for starter and fish stew with monkfish, mussels, potatoes and veg for main. Both were from the Specials Board, and very delicious they were too.
But you can also choose a 2-course meal for ┬Ż15 from the Set Menu on most days. As for the restaurant's name, it comes from the productive fig tree in the sunny courtyard.
ItŌĆÖs lovely to see PlymouthŌĆÖs independent eateries, run by local families, doing so well ŌĆō and getting the wider recognition they deserve. We know Plymouth has a great eating out scene ... now it seems that word has finally got out!

Fantastic news it's confirmed the Plymouth Dockyard will be the base for the Royal Navy's new type 26 Frigates. The anti-submarine ŌĆśglobal combatŌĆÖ warships will enter service in the 2020s, replacing the Type 23 frigates.
