Op. Dr. Ahmet UMAY : He was born in Ankara in 20. 11. 1969. He got his primary and secondary education in TED. Ankara College Foundation Private High School’s middle section. After finishing his high school education in Anatolian Technical Architect College English Department, he graduated as a technical designer of interior architechture. He got his master in Bulgaria (St. Zagora Medicine School). His medical profession began in 1988 ( University of Bristol, Faculty and Medicine Science), he got his PH. D in UK in 1999 (Ophtalmology /MBA) and (Podiatric Surgery & Disease)

In the field of Eye Diseases and Surgical; his special departments are Refractive Surgery, Cataract, Gloucome and Strabismus. He is a member of Catacart and Refractive Association, International Refractive Surgery Association and American Ophtholmalogy Academy.

UMAY, the member of United Kingdom Eyes of Surgery Association and United Kingdom Podiatric Surgery Association, has achieved successes on clinical studies in the field of gloucome surgery which is in the literature of Journal of Optalmalogy in England. He took honor of ‘’ UK. ILDONWELL MASTER SURGERY’’ in 1999.

He has been the member of Podiatric Feet Surgery Association since 1999.
Umay, who has many honors in many succesful surgeries in England, Ireland and European countries, has performed many operations for free with his team for Turkish and European people who have low income level ( surgeries like cataract, gloucome, etc. )

On the behalf of Turkish Medical Association, he is the volunteer instructor and sponsor for Civil Society.

He makes his profession in private surgery centers and hospitals (abroad and professional) because he doesn’t have equivalance in Turkish Republic Health Organization.
He took over ARON Group of Companies in 2002 and He is the chairman of the board. Within this company he went into business by setting up companies including the fields of Health& Service-Domestic& Foreign Trade (Health Facilities Managemant). With his attempts to venture capital investment, he became first to be the company that started international health tourism.

He has been working in England, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Cyprus, Dubai and such European countries in the field of Execimer laser, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for the foreign patients. The represantative offices in abroad within the ARON company has developed the services in the field of health tourism in 2003.
Umay has been always aimed a service that has no return. Towards that end, he and his team headed on a way with the slogan of ILLUMINATED WORLD and on the behalf of General Eye Health. He and his team serviced in the social sympoziom, free cataract surgery, eye scans, supply of lenses, attempt to struggle gloucoma, etc.
Umay has investment partnerships. He served in the sponsorhip of ARON : villages, free vaccination, diabetic Retinopathy, ministry of education, apprenticeship training, 118 /R Lions Clup Federation, 2420. District Rotary Clup.

Ahmet Umay has Classic Turkish Art Music Education. By taking example of leading masters like Sadi Hoşses, Avni Anıl, Yusuf Nalkesen, Nursal Ünsal Birtek, Dr. Ayhan Sökmen and Avni Öztürk. He served in İstanbul Music Assocation, İzmir Music Association and Music Research and Develop Association.
He has two compositions in repertoire of TRT Ankara Radio. He has been the choir chef in İzmir surgeon chamber and Turkish Music Choir.
