Thank you so much for providing us with a great venue! Some pubs were not willing to have a party on a Wednesday night and when I said it was for people with disabilities it was a bigger no!! However not the open house whom welcomed us as and our guys with open arms!! A big thank you for making the person I support have a wonderful 30th Birthday!!
Sitting in one of the booths in the beautiful garden after one of the best burgers I've ever had, ever. Honestly, spectacular!! We also had the dipping board which was a bit over priced for the amount of dips & flatbread you get, but would be great for a group to share if there was a bit more of it. Wonderful place.
Simply a great pub! Friendly & fun staff, delicious food (we had cannelloni and falafel), lovely setting and one of the best pints I have had in Brighton! We are looking forward to our next visit :)
Lovely local pub, great food, chilled atmosphere and the staff are really friendly.
Lovely atmosphere and beautiful jasmine filled garden. Great new chef too.
Loveliest, friendliest pub in Brighton. Great food, nice and warm in the winter, great garden and we always manage to have a relaxing evening with our dog in there. The staff are so friendly and lovely and always make a big fuss of our dog. We keep coming back - great atmosphere!
I had spicy chicken wings( 8)chips, sauce, and a yummy salad and a dressing to die for. Good portions
Great pub and food. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Always seems busy which is great.
Great local pub. Has been for the 12 years I’ve lived here. Always friendly staff, dog friendly... lovely beer garden. Yesterday had one of the vegan options for dinner,Beetroot, black bean and walnut burger... it’s was absolutely delicious. A firm favourite for me and my friends
Good food and reasonable prices and a great buzzy atmosphere. The outside space is great as well .
Good atmosphere, amazing club sandwich and chips!!!
Can’t fault the place !! Staff were lovely food was good and a right laugh had by all
Best pub food I've had in ages. Spicy chicken burger was awesome and the chocolate orange bread and butter pudding was amazing. Will definitely be back!
Really nice pub, accepts dogs. Had roast beef which was nice, disappointed with veg, one carrot, a small amount of under cooked green cabbage and a mountain of vile Red cabbage out of a tin. I know the price of veg has gone up but there is never an excuse for that much Red Cabbage.
Staff are really nice and helpful, it was lovely and warm, probably best booking a table on a Sunday.
First time here. Went for a Sunday roast and it was quite good but food wasn't especially hot when it arrived. Too many kids running around for my liking. Nice pub decor and the stuff we're really nice and friendly. If the food was hot it would have gained another star
Looks much nicer on the inside than it does from the outside. But i was only there for 5 minutes. I assumed (as i'd seen the pub described as 'dog friendly' online), that they allowed dogs, so we went straight in and sat down on the sofas, little dog (chihuahua) in tow. I went to the loo, whilst my partner & mate went to the bar, leaving my mate's girlfriend with my dog. I come back from the loo to hear that the manager, (i think he was the manager anyway), has told her to leave, as dogs are not allowed. Fair enough, but he was very rude about it. She said 'it's not actually my dog', and he replied 'i don't care who's dog it is'. He was unnecessarily angry & confrontational. Not being her dog, she didn't feel comfortable leaving the pub with him until I was back from the loo.
Safe to say we won't be going back. What kind of friendly local doesn't allow dogs anyway?! Weird. And don't say you're dog friendly when you ain't.
Group of us went there because we were thinking of hiring the function room for a summer party. It was a miserable night but they wouldn't let Lilly sit under the lean to because she was under 18. We couldn't leave her and her dad on the pavement in the rain so we all left. Surprised you can afford to have 20 customers walk out. You must be doing well! Or maybe you just don't like bikers. Needless to say we won't be patronising you in the future. Scallywags MCC.
