Student Hub Live workshop 10 January: Get your study priorities sorted! Student Hub Live workshop (10 January): New Year's resolutions, Get your study priorities sorted!
The focus of this new hour-long evening workshop on Wednesday 10 January will be on re-prioritising your study goals and reconsidering time management.
... Tutors Isabella Henman and Karen Foley will lead the discussion about what is (and is not!) working for you in terms of managing your study time. This will include sharing some examples of useful time management techniques.
The workshop will be run in an online room and will include plenty of opportunities for interaction with the tutors and your fellow students. It will start with a 5 minute video introducing what will be covered in the session, followed by a 10 minute presentation using the whiteboard and 30 minutes of breakout activities. At the end, everybody will come back together for a 15 minute plenary and the opportunity to share learnings together.
Due to the expected high number of participants, there will be 2 sessions as follows:
• Access and Level 1 students: Welcome 6.45pm, session runs 7-8pm (register online at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/new-years- resolutions-get-yo…)
• Level 2 and 3: Welcome 8.15pm, session runs 8.30 – 9.30pm (register online at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/new-years- resolutions-get-yo…)
You can watch the trailer here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1Vs4hYNX Xo, or to get more information, please visit SHL Website at http://studenthublive.open.ac.uk/.
