Reviews from last night's performance are in!
"An extremely enjoyable evening. We saw Die Fledermaus last year at the Vienna Volkstheater and this version can hold its head up high alongside that much more lavish and slickly rehearsed production. The singers were all excellent and handled the comedy with aplomb & it was great to see it done with such enthusiasm and energy by a young, multi-national and multi-ethnic cast. The direction was sharp, making maximum use of the conf...ined space (the crowded party scene was well handled in that respect, I thought) as well as the Wilton's tricky, two-tier stage which has sometimes presented a problem for other productions we've seen here. The third act, which really dragged on when we saw it in Vienna, moved along smartly too." Anonymous
"A very engaging piece. The cast was generally very strong, particularly the female leads. The Orchestra was enthusiastic and the music was well directed. An enjoyable evening" -- Nigel Benwell
"Absolutely wonderful. Beautiful voices." 5/5 -- Anonymous

ONLINE Booking closes at 4pm for Die Fledermaus, you can still get tickets at the door!
Another review from one of our guests last Monday--
'Johann Strauss' music is wonderfully brought to Roaring Twenties life by a superbly led Holborn Community Orchestra, and the leading singers are delightfully supported by the Haraya Choir in splendid voice. One learns with astonishment from the programme that not all involved are full-time professionals - the standard is that high.
... The leads are all very well sung and thoroughly audible, and moments of dramatic 'business' are never allowed to delay the brisk clip of the production's progress. The minimalist approach to set design is skillfully used by the principals to convey all that is needed, and there are moments of real drama and pathos in this beautiful production.
Warmly recommended.'

Reviews from our audience from last night's premiere:
“Absolutely magnificent! The soloists simply wowed with their voices and Die Fledermaus truly came to life! The audience was transported into 1920's Vienna and completely immersed into the performance. The live music is also a great treat. And what a venue Wilton's Music Hall is! Rush there and grab a ticket for the next performance.” Sandra Mueller 5/5 stars
“What an atmosphere generated in Wiltons Music Hall and treble ...Bravo to the cast & chorus who could not have entertained me more, performance is at its best when not only the audience engages but when the ripple effect spreads to the audience interaction in the audience. Such a joy!” Anonymous, 5/5 stars
“Great fun, and impressive singing and acting by a culturally diverse cast. We were really impressed and would watch for this group again…” Mary Ibbett 5/5 stars
“A delightful show, performed with energy and elan, The vocalists and chorus were of a high standard” Allan Scott
“Fantastic singers and musicians. Lovely, well known light-classical music in this comical, operatic farce. All the singers were excellent.” Cliff Hern 5/5 stars
“Great evening and atmosphere at this unique venue, lovely production performed by a talented cast and orchestra” Malcolm Chiswell
