So we did a little test in the salon as one of a well know brand of straighteners cant have the heat adjusted , and a lot of our clients have this brand and keep coming back saying colours fade so we did this .... straighteners are 230 degrees vs 180 or lower!
All colours are the brand JOICO!!! We absolutely love iron clad so we made sure we used this on all hair being tested... we started with JOICO colour intensities, the heat made a little difference with the intense col...ours , but majorly effected moisture & hydration, look at that steam!!!😲😭 so much damage is being created here! During this experiment we found that the lighter the intensity the greater affect the heat had on the colour, just look at the difference 😭

The before picture shows a colour Nicki had bleached it up to herself from a black box dye (which we do not recommended!!) To achieve the stunning finishing colour Beth did a full head of highlights with a colour all round, and a colour melt over the top to give it a natural finish.Nicki was advised to use K-pack shampoo at home to keep her colour looking fresh.
