ORANGE SCHOOL OF MOTORING EXCLUSIVELY USES DSA, FULLY QUALIFIED DRIVING INSTRUCTOR, TO ENSURE OUR PUPILS GET THE VERY BEST QUALITY TUITION.

We understand that some pupils may be nervous about learning to drive for the first time. No need to worry! Our experienced instructors will take you to a quiet area where the functions of the car and the controls are explained. You will, with support, drive the car on the first lesson.

We will incorporate all the learning for the Theory and Hazard Perception tests during the course of your lessons, through practical exercises and support with sign and signal recognition.

Lessons will tailor made for individuals to ensure that learning goes at the appropriate pace. Teaching will progress to ensure you become a confident and safe driver.



DRIVING TUITION:
We offer full hour lessons, which are designed around you. We take into account your confidence, experience and pace of learning. Learning to drive is not brain surgery- it is a simple set of processes and actions. We teach all of our pupils the basics such as correct positioning of the steering wheel and seat height. Then gradually progress to more complex processes such as reversing around a corner and the Highway Code. We pride ourselves on providing value for money, so don’t like to waste your time. As soon as you are ready and confident, you will be coached for your driving test.

PASS PLUS:
Pass Plus is a training course to improve driving skills and safety when on the road. It typically takes 6 hours and is ideally completed in your first year after passing the UK driving test. The Pass Plus certificate may help drivers receive discounts on their car insurance. All of our drivers are Pass Plus registered (ADI.



MIKE ROGERS INSTRUCTOR:

I am an experienced driving instructor, offering full hour lessons in Kingston and its surrounding areas.
The manual tuition cars are Volkswagen Polos. They are a great car to drive and manoeuvre. The automatic cars are Nissan Micras. These are compact and easy to drive with the added benefit of no tricky gears. All of our cars are fitted with He-Man dual controls for your safety and peace of mind.
