What a fantastic day yesterday making door wreaths at our workshop run by our very talented florist, Gaye Drummond. It's so amazing to see what everyone's created. Well done! Looking forward to next Monday (already fully booked) to see more creations.

To vote for us, fill in your details on the Friday Standard Newspaper on Page 12 and post it to the address included or drop it off at our shop and café. We have a few free newspapers available in the cafe if you want to come and collect the newspaper for free.

Just had this made by one of my lovely customers to keep me warm in the weather to come. It has been handmade using one of our new 100% wool fabrics. Love it!

From tomorrow, every Wednesday there will be a pizza takeaway truck outside our premises and you're more than welcome to come and eat the pizza in the café! 🍕🍕🍕🍕

What a charming, setting for a restaurant/tearoom/tea garden. The whole operation is super efficient, while retaining the cosy village family atmosphere.

Friendly knowledgeable and efficient staff who give the same service last thing in the afternoon as they do first thing.

The selection of food is perfect, always fresh and home made. Saying that, you are made more than welcome to call in for a simple cuppa!

The gift shop is well worth a visit, with some quirky and fun home made gifts. If you are into fabrics and dressmaking, you will be blown away by the selection.

We won the competition for afternoon tea for 2, it was absolutely amazing! Service was great, we were providing with a separate plate of nut free cakes due to my allergy, too much to eat so brought cakes home. Gift shop is beautiful and so much choice on reasonably priced fabric. Definitely recommend! �

We went to Oranges & Lemons for the first time on 2nd August and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and such a happy relaxing atmosphere too. We bumped into some friends we hadn't seen for some time, they were enjoying some Coffee.

We can recommend it, we will definitely be going back again soon.

Also looked round the shop and bought a birthday present for a friend.

Visited with a friend on opening day - what a lovely shop, some lovely gifts, quilting, furnishing fabric, etc and the coffee shop is great, sat in courtyard - what could be better for me - haberdashery shop and coffee - oh, and parking is no problem - see you soon ..........

Visited for lunch today, first time visit since moving from Manningtree high st.

Great menu selection, lovely prompt service and fab food.

Fabric selection to die for , together with all haberdashery items.

Nice range of gifts too. Will definitely be back.

Such a lovely lady who owns this store. So helpful, and knowledgeable. Even offering to make some double piping for me and sending it on. A real treat to have such wonderful service. She even got my baby to sleep while we shopped! Top, top place to visit xxx

My first visit to Oranges and Lemons, and certainly will not be my last. Wonderful service, and the food to die for... loved all the little extra nick nack around the place that are for sale. If only I could sew, as the most beautiful materials , cottons and accessories ,are for sale also.

Met up here for lunch one Saturday and absolutely loved it. The food was gorgeous and the staff very polite. A very interesting little shop with lots of gifts and unusual objects of interest. A little treasure.

Just had a rather nice lunch of homemade goats cheese and asparagus quiche with new potatoes and a lovely mixed salad. The homemade cakes looked very tempting but I resisted this time but I did pick up some rather nice fabric to make a lampshade to go on my floor standing lamp stand.

It is one of my favourite places to visit, always a warm welcome here, with delicious food. Today I took 14 of my school friends in for afternoon tea and the food and service was just perfect. The staff couldn't do enough for us . Thank you my friend.. See you soon for Tapas. xxxx

Great service the owner it is very friendly and helpful. I love the range of fabrics, I’ve made some beautiful cushions and curtains from them. The cafe is a great addition too and the food is lovely. Would defiantly recommend!

First visit yesterday. Lovely tea n cakes, friends had a yummy lunch. Brought some material, beautiful choices. Would recommend.

Fantastic cheese scones today on our first visit. Lovely place, friendly service and a shop selling sewing and knitting supplies including dress fabric. Will be back again and definitely going to try a tapas evening.

Excellent place to eat. Great service and food was delicious- home made chips! The little shop has some lovely items too that they gift wrapped for free.

Been here before for afternoon tea,everything is made fresh, really delicious and far too much, we all came away with our cake selection in a box.

Staff are really pleasant and the owner more than goes that extra mile to make sure her customers are happy and satisfied.

Been here a few times now. Today was so lovely went with my mum and 3 children. Lovely lady who owns it, and the young waiter and waitress were most helpful. They included in the milkshakes different toppings for my kids very thoughtful they enjoyed sprinkling them on. Lovely sandwiches, ploughmans and delicious cake. We also love the beautiful shop. Lovely place great food with wonderful staff. Thankyou �
