Hi just an up dated that a friend has asked me to send in from friday 23rd- Sunday 25th march. Flenious gru fished a 48hr session on lake 4 a total of 6 fish landed a 28.15 mirror, 27.12 mirror, 25.5 mirror, 25.8 common, 11 and 17 mirrors also. All came from fishing close to the island with mainline spicy crab.
Me and my Dad fished lake 6 yesterday. It had been a long time since my dad had been on the banks so I picked lake 6 to get him back into it slowly, slowly is not the outcome we got. I would say we had between 80-100 fish between 9am and 5 pm. The majority being little commons of about 2.5lbs but there was a few surprises with a couple of lower doubles in the mix. A real good bit of sport and we'll recommended for anglers on light tackle or those wishing to learn.
I've been fishing orchard from day one when there was only the 1 lake and cannot fault it I've had some incredible sessions there and some not so good but that's the magical world of fishing.
The staff and the family are top draw and always very welcoming and accommodating.
The facilities are fantastic,clean and the food is spot on,you get some noddys down there sometimes but that's to be expected on a day ticket water.
I will continue to fish it and always will,watching the place grow over the years is fantastic and a big thumbs up to everyone there from me,can't fault it :-) :-)
I like orchard fished a few lakes there 1,4,7,8 some lovely fish still looking for my PB did catch my first ever cat there great fisherie nd great food with very big fish
I have seen a few bad reviews on this place, which are a bit unfair, I fish all over the uk as its apart of my job and I have fished 100 of venues and this venue is by far one of the cleanest and most friendly.
Michelle is great and even when and got the tractor out to take our stuff to our swims which was fantastic even came and picked ours up as well all with a smile and a bit of banter and unlike many other fisheries didn't charge us, one of the guys forgot he's water bottles Michelle also went out of her way to sort this out for us as well very swiftly to.
The food is also very good and at a great price the tackle shop does hold everything you will need.
Overall a very good fishery run by down to earth people very clean and friendly has a real family real to it
Had brilliant 48hr session with brother in law absolute screaming runs fish fought hard we ended up having 5 cats out biggest 26lb but worth it still food was epic staff are friendly and helpful would definitely recommend and will deffo be comming back soon
Fished here for the first time yesterday, it was quite busy but we found a nice swim for 2 of us on a day ticket without a problem.
Facilities are excellent with very pleasant staff, all in all a very good day, even stopped fishing for half hour and had an excellent breakfast.
We will be going again very shortly,

As a match Angler lake 6 was my lake for the day and i must say on arrival it looked stunning ! My only problem was which of the 60 pegs would be my home for the day !
That decided i planned a 2 line pole approach at 8M and 13M with Rigs on the bottom and 2ft shallow !
From the off it was F1s and carp every put in and im guessing at over 100lb of fish caught on pellet and corn.
A great Day's Fishing in beautiful Kent Countryside !

Awesome place. I used to work over the road so done many over nighters here and caught a shed load of fish. Friendly staff who were always very helpful. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. Tackle shop is ideal and the food was great. Top marks and gutted I changed jobs but will be back in April for a fish
Amazing fishing, lovely people, amazing food. Three of us down who all had big fish. Will be back. Would recommend to everyone.
Absolutely in love with this place just got bk from a 72 hours session on lake 8 staff are brilliant and fishing is great nice cheap cafe on site to brilliant place and to top it off got my new pb twice great time with 6 fish for me and 3 being in the 20s love this place b bk soon
Local fishery with loads of lakes fished on lake 6 it's a match lake but is great for day tickets lots of carp around 4lbs, plus barbel some of which are double figure best of the day for me was 12lbs 5oz , the weather was a great factor but this lake gives you plenty of action whatever the weather
Fished lake 9 and think there ant the fish in there they say but there is some nice fish, see just 7 fish out over the whole weekend between 8 fishermen, might be were itās the end of season but donāt think there is a lot of fish in the lakes, will defo come back and give another try, hopefully better next time out
Lake 7 was spawning last weekend they should of closed the lake and not waste our money and most importantly the fish health. But still happy to take our money should of gone else where but our fault. Apart from that facilities was good and friendly apart from one not much help
I called the complex to book 2 swims on Lake 4 for a day ticket on a Friday, a male on the end of the phone told me that firstly they don't do day tickets on Fridays, it's normally booked on a Friday for the weekend and secondly, lake 4 was fully booked. This male did say that he would put me and my mate on Lake 3 for the day instead which I appreciated. On the day I turned up and went to pay for my booking. The guy in the shop opened the book and I wasn't booked in, plus that lake (3) had been fully booked. I thought I was going home, which was a 2 hour journey. The guy said that he would get me fishing, no problem, so he put us on Lake 9. Trying different baits and rigs we didn't get a bite all day, not even a line bite. To say we were disappointed was an understatement. Reading the reviews after the fact it appears that others have had the same problem. How difficult is it to put a name in a diary? I'm afraid that after that day me or my pal won't be visiting this complex again. I'm sure others have had great times here and will return again and again but our experience was not that clever.
Very unorganised running of a business turned up to fish was told three people on the lake took our money and we got to the lake found nine people on the lake no nowhere to go as our group overbooked.
Try to get refund.
We ended up paying and not getting the money back and the bailiff was very rude to us and we try to get a refund and the owner wasn't much help either would not advise the fish this place very poor very poor.
Paid for 76 hr not even to fish the lake very disappointed.
We drove along way with disabled people to fish this lake and we booked well in advance.
Total respect for the fishery,total respect for 90per cent of the true anglers who was fishing there,total respect for the woman who runs burger van,zero respect for noddy 1 and noddy 2 angler who ruined my trip,zero respect for the bloke running it as I will explain,paid Ā£110 for 48hour for two angels to fish lake 2 gods no why was told there was 30's in there witch I doubt as between us and another friend we witnessed over 30 fish on the bank bout 20 carp and bout 10 cats not one off them was over 14lb so it hard to believe what they say as other angels sheared similar story's,but that's not the problem the problem is we saved to have weekend away fishing first night was fine second night noddy 1 and noddy 2 turns up bout 6pm after iv just stuck bout Ā£40-Ā£50 worth bait out on my spots there was already bout 7 anglers on the lake was far to many already if u ask me so they drop in to a half grown over swim next to me what faces across my swim what the bloke and woman tells me it ain't a swim and not allowed to fish there so I was calm exsplained to them and all I got was little gay rude boy attitude so I reeled in went to the shop to explain to fella who owns it,they was closed so has a number on window of shop if any problems so called it straight to answer phone called again same so left voicemail explaining my situation no one come over or rang back so lost whole night fishing so rang again first light no reply so packed up waited for shop to open the woman was first in lovely woman went all out to help but didn't have the authority to resolve it when bloke turns up he admitted I was right they was in the wrong agreed I should b refunded half my session was happy enough to except that then he changed his mind and started being very rude told me I should of rang witch I did was switched off then told me he ain't losing out I should text him(really) so what the angler who keeps his business open should b the one to lose out total lack of respect and there was me total respect for his lake not to pack noddy 1 and noddy 2 in there bivy and throw them in the drink,so all I have to say if anyone out there planing there trip there avoid at all costs there r cheaper better run venues with proven big quality fish the place is designed to rip people off b warned...!
My husband and his friend came here to fish today and upon entry were asked where they were both originally from. When they responded that they were from Romania, one of the management team informed them that would not be able to fish because they were "Eastern European". I understand that there have been a few instances were a few Polish individuals have got into a habit of removing the fish from the lake but I am unsure how branding everyone from that part of the world is anything other than xenophobic in this day and age. I am British born and bred and whatever your reasons are, it is not acceptable. They were made to feel like thieves despite being paying customers. Disgusting! ļæ½
