Well worth the drive, for a lovely tranquil place, beautiful views and things too do close by, orchardleigh house is a lovely friendly and welcoming place with lovely walks on site 8-) missing the peace of orchardleigh house already 8-( xx

We were married here 25/10/2008 and it was AMAZING!!!! Karl and the rest of the staff made it the best day ever and, nearly 5 years on, friends still talk about it as one of the best weddings they've been to - why? Food was of an incredibly high standard, service was impeccable, atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and everyone enjoyed themselves (us, our family, our guests and the staff)! Love this place x x

There was never going to be another venue for our Big Day!!! We fell in love with the Walled garden from the moment we saw it, the whole team made our Day just the most Perfect it could have been. Karl, I cant thank you enough for all of your help, you were here there and everywhere taking care of the day and it didn’t go unnoticed by everyone. As a fellow Wedding planner and operations manager I know just how much effort it takes to run someones wedding day so Thankyou for this, as a natural born worrier, I didn’t have one on the day!! Orchardleigh Estate is one of the most amazing wedding venues along with the Walled garden it offers so much scope for a great day with smaller or larger groups of guests the staff are so professional and helpful with the food being a massive hilight so many areas in the grounds for photo's you will love it!

After looking at numerous venues we chose Orchardleigh on our first visit, we secured our wedding date within a week as we were blown away by the house and grounds. We picked to get married in st Marys church which is nestled in the stunning grounds on a little island, the church relies on candles for light and a wood burner for heat, it doesn't get more romantic than that. We loved our church visits so much we still continue to go now.

We went away to plan our day with a year to go. I made several visits to the house and church within that year and each time the staff were beyond helpful nothing was too much which took a lot of the stressing away, they were always there on the phone happy to help.

I stayed in one of their holiday lets the night before which was exceptional.

The big day came... I thought i was organised but somehow had a long list to do that morning luckily our wedding co-ordinator Garry was an absolute star and took it all onboard. from having canapés and champagne waiting for us as we got out the car to my dilemma with my dress. We were made to feel like orchardleigh was our house and anything we asked was fulfilled. The food was sensational, we had so many comments about the table service with lots of people saying they've never been to a wedding like it. Having exclusive use of Orchardleigh was essential to us as we have small children who when got tired just went up to their rooms while we could still enjoy our evening knowing they were safe upstairs. We had our own bar man who was there for us till the early hours of the morning and he even set us up a table for beer pong.

We had the most magical day and the memories will warm our hearts forever there isn't one thing id changed and we feel blessed to have such fond memories of our day and thats down to the staff at Orchardleigh.

The atmosphere was incredible i cannot recommend orchardleigh enough.

A lovely and grand setting, absolutely beautiful views. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the accommodation first class. The children and the adults had a wonderful time.
