Well, I don't wanna brag but Check out our batter! Cod, plaice, haddock and a gluten free!

All of our chips come from potatoes that are peeled, cut and washed on the premises! Ooh and check out our sweet potatoes :-)

Heard a vicious rumour this week that we use frozen chips! And that we use pre peeled potatoes?! No sir. Alan washing the freshly cut potatoes ready for service!

Went in tea time and had fish and chips. Food was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Even sat down and had a cup of tea with my meal. Will certainly go again.

We came here for a pre theatre tea and liked it so much we came back the next day for lunch after a shopping trip. The gluten free options are definately worth the extra cost, battered sausage was a food of our past until we came here, and we were very full with no undesirable after affects which have become the norm after dining out at many many places. Sitting in and eating off plates and using proper cutlery was also very nice. And gluten free vinegar!! Very well done to Orford plaice for a job very well done in catering for those with food intolerances ... see you again soon �

We are on holiday in Great Yarmouth. Me and my mum was on a shopping trip in Norwich. We walked passed Orford plaice and we both said how nice it looked. We continued shopping. We came back pass and decided to have lunch. So glad we did. The staff was really lovely and very helpful and polite. My mum is a senior citizen so she had a senior citizen fish and chips she was really pleased it came with a hot drink. The chips was lovely the curry sauce was tasty. My mum enjoyed her fish and chips and of course her cup of tea. May need to visit Norwich more just to re visit Orford plaice. Keep up the good work. Hope to re visit in the future �

Visited for the second time today, on both visits polite and helpful staff. Food cooked to order and tastes great, really nice to see gluten free as an option too. Overall really impressed and will be visiting again.

The best fish and chips in Suffolk owner is the best very kind and looks like Justin Timberlake i would go there �

Orford Plaice supplied the food for my daughter's birthday party at The Open. Being kids it was Jumbo sausage & chips all round. From what I saw it looked lovely but didn't get a look in as the kids are the lot! Service has been second to none & everyone is so lovely. It is a proper chippy & we will be back

Lovely place, fantastic staff, amazing fish and chips and good value. Every time we take our little girl to Norwich, she insisted on going to visit you. I think we’ve taken all our family now. See you soon

Come in on Mother’s Day for a quick stop for lunch. Great friendly service, lots of happy faces. Chips are cooked to order. Been here a few times and never walked away disappointed! Lovely �

A lovely place to go for fresh cooked fish and great chips. Service was also very good with nothing of any trouble and a lovely smile from the staff.

Excellent fish & chips & good value. Just a shame that the ground floor seating area is so small - they should have extended when the shop next door was empty!

I came in for some food which was nice the only thing was staff tapping on the stainless steal to music and when their favourite song came on the radio was turned louder I didn't like the " banter " between staff a bit loud tbf the young girl serving was lovely and polite tho

Can be good aslong as you go in at peak times, didnt enjoy delivery order either, even though it’s only a short distance the food was very greasy when arrived and drinks order was wrong
