Oriental Touch will be closing on the 25th of December (Christmas Day) and re-open on the 26th (Boxing Day). Have a happy Christmas everyone!

Sorry for any inconvenience but I'm afraid that Oriental Touch will be unable to open tomorrow. Hopefully the redecoration will be finished by next week. Again, thank you for staying patient.

Thank you to all our customers who had waited patiently for us to Re-open again. However, it seems that there will be at least another 2 weeks before we are able to finish redecorating. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes, we are trying to finish as soon as possible.

Went here after our wedding yesterday. The food was delicious I cannot fault it at all. Staff were a bit reserved would be my only criticism. Absolutely fabulous place to eat all the foot was of excellent quality and hot. We would literally come back to Torquay to just eat here. The puddings is honestly the best selection I’ve ever seen in any restaurant ever. £6.95 for all you can eat buffet and reasonable priced drinks too. You can ask for more that that. I would highly recommend this place to anyone

Love this place, go every other week with family and friends, kids also very welcome. Food always fresh and hot, staff are so friendly and always going around cleaning straight up after people and asking if you need anything. Best Chinese in Torbay the food is to die for. Toilets etc all clean and spoiltless. A very lovely place to dine in the day time or evenings.

It was awsome gives you the opportunity to try difference foods and to eat as much as you can, I loved it ��

Excellent Service, variety of mains / deserts, eat as much as you like buffet, can’t complain at all and will definitely go back when in area.

Can’t fault the service! Lovely food, amazing at the price, my granddaughter is diabetic and she was given full fat coke by accident it was exchanged without question would highly recommend especially if you have a young family

Brilliant buffet, huge choice for all tastes, very hot and frequently replenished. Also amazing desert buffet - cakes, fresh fruit, ice cream, chocolate fountain .... amazing. Highly recommended.

I went with 4 friends for an evening buffet.... has had a very nice upgrade since I was last there. Was very busy which is a good sign. Prompt service with drinks and then a help yourself buffet. Plenty of choice and everything I had was tasty, well cooked and hot. The desert choices were also varied. Good value for money and I will certainly return.

I went at the weekend with family for my Nan's 80th birthday. Lovely food & friendly & helpful staff.

Was ok, not as much choice as previous times I've been, found the Indian cuisine confusing in a Chinese restaurant and the cocktail sausages an interesting extra (maybe that was the English cuisine lol)

I wasn't to pleased as of the starters were a bit cold, was no chicken In the (chicken n sweetcorn soup) staff weren't really friendly felt a little surrounded for waiters wanting to clear plates as we eat, so left feeling uncomfortable, 1st ever visit there too, everyone has an opinion but I never liked it.

Food was average, but I suppose expected from a buffet.

Staff friendly and polite but manager/owner was very aggressive towards his female staff. Also I disagree with the way they decide the child's price by HEIGHT, my daughter is 10 but taller than an average 10 year old so we were charged for an adult buffet and she only ate some chicken satay. Not allowed to order from a menu.

Won't be seeing us again.

Went to his place today for lunch after havinb many good meals here. Always thought it was value for money.

HOWEVER today the food tasted like it had been reheated from the night before, I must add it had just opened so more than likely.

Meat was dry and chips, chicken balls, spring rolls were hollow as they'd been overlooked or even reheated.

I really didn't enjoy my meal which was a disappointment. I mentioned this when me and my boyfriend went to pay. The manager was called over and asked what was the matter. I explained what the problem with the food was to which he then went mental at us. Accusing me of lying and saying I'm not a human being (?)

He threatened to punch my boyfriend in the face and stood in our way when we tried to leave. I must add my boyfriend was willing to pay for his until the manager/owner threatened us. He said 'I'm not going to speak to you because you're female"

In the end my boyfriend paid for his meal to try and defuse the situation.

We can't quite believe what happened and we are still in disbelief.
