Well organised and fun taster session with Steve for a hen party. Will definitely be returning for some lessons! Fantastic day. Thank you!

Visited yesterday for a Femme Fatales ladies Shooting day. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, fantastic shooting facilities in a beautiful setting. Our instructor Andrew was great, he even managed to get me to hit some clays. Will definitely be visiting again x

Visited for the first time today for a 100 bird sporting competition today with Tiernan Goodman.

Very impressed with the ground which was well kept, complemented by a great club house lovely food and gun shop.

The targets were great only saw 2 no birds as we made our way round.

Thanks for a great day, wish you were closer.

Took my 11 year old son on a young shots day. He did archery, air rifle shooting and clay pigeon shooting. Although he has done clay pigeon shooting before he used one of their guns and did amazingly well. The staff were fantastic and made him feel totally relaxed. The fascilites were well kept and clean. Also the cup of tea and chips were yummy. ���

Orston shooting ground is one of if not the best in the business, it caters for all disciplines and all levels unlike most that I visit, it has a great friendly atmosphere and and staff are all very helpful and obliging, It's canteen serves good food at reasonable prices. Can't wait to get back there. Thanks to Dan, Emmily and Steve, and also to the trappers.

My husband came on Saturday as a party of 5 for my brothers 40th birthday celebration. They had a fabulous time and the instructor was really good and informative. Even us girls enjoyed ourselves. Thanks again.

Lovely Ground, good standard of targets. Can be testing, but still enjoyable to shoot, a balance some grounds can't seem to get right. Grounds are well kept with good access and pathways for less able bodied shooters. Golf style buggies can be hired too if walking too far is a problem.

Nice Gunshop with a good range of products, big range of Cartridges on offer too. One of the best Clubhouses of any ground, with lovely food available! Homemade Scotch Eggs are the best!!!!!

Plenty of parking on two clean gravelled car parks.

I had such wonderful feedback from all who attended. The grounds are immaculate, we were kept fed and watered all day and the instructors were 1st Class (especially the lovely Andrew!!).



When we are back at Grantham, we will definitely be holding our shooting event at Orston, can’t wait to come back.

By far the best place i have been.

Fantastic shop, grounds, cafe and the most helpful staff.

Had a great day loved it. Went with some friends who had never shot before. The gentleman who we went round with was top class very helpful would highly recommend it to seasoned pros beginners alike ���

Great shooting ground layout. 1st time here. Clean, friendly & fantastic greeting by all staff. Ladies in resturant are so friendly and serve great food. Highly recommend.

Great ground , great staff , Emily and dan really pushing the club forwards for experienced shooters and also beginners in the sport

First visit today, went along to introduction Sarah to some air rifle shooting and give me the chance to practice some long range stuff. Excellent facilities and really helpful staff. Hope to return real soon and try some clay target shooting.

First visit to Orston since Dan and Emily took over. What an efficient team they are. I took my grandson to shoot in the All round comp. The ground is still neatly manicured the stands are clean. Saw breakfasts being served which looked excellent value and nicely presented. Clubhouse was exceptionally clean. The gun shop was well stocked containing some nice gear. So much nicer now you can gain access from the clubhouse. The competition was very well organised (I don’t think there was any waiting at all). All staff were pleasant and nicely turned out. The results of the competition were available online within the time it took to get home (45minutes). Excellent. This is certainly 5 star treatment which will definitely lead to re- visits by us and I would highly recommend visits by all.

First Corporate day for us at Smartlift and we couldn't have picked a better venue, so well organised from start to finish. The staff were brilliant and the bacon rolls buffet lunch and cakes were gorgeous, we were well fed and watered all day. The instructors were more then helpful with great advice great range of targets for all ability shooters. We couldn't recommend highly enough hopefully look forward to seeing you again next year.

Fantastic ground with great facilities, especially for the disabled, if you are wheelchair bound, use a mobility scooter or are just wobbly on your feet then this is the ground for you. Dan, Emily and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful whether your just beginning or are an experienced shooter, I highly recommend this shooting ground.

Celebrating my sons 13th b/day. Fantastic afternoon and Steve was a top bloke, had an amazing afternoon and will definitely be returning

Always exceptionally well run with a range of disciplines on offer. A good range of targets on sporting that will challenge all shooters. Really enjoy the food in the clubhouse and the staff are always accommodating. I always enjoy my time at Orston.
