I had a pendant made out of my mom's wedding ring that was passed on to me. Needless to say the ring had sentimental value to me, but since I couldn't wear another wedding ring, plus it was too big for me, I came up with an idea to make a pendant with some symbols that would signify our family. I had the best experience while creating the pendant. I agree with the other reviews, Ortwin was amazingly patient, knowledgeable and creative, listening to my ideas and actively but non-aggressively suggesting his ideas when I got stuck. Working with him was like working with a (very talented) friend. He did everything by hand without using lasers, i.e. taking an easier route, which makes the pendant even more special. The design came out amazing, I am so proud of that piece, it's so unique, and it's the closest to my heart piece of jewellery I own.

My fiancé's mum recommended this shop and I'm glad she did! Ortwin (the owner of the shop) took time to sit down with my fiancé before the proposal to discuss ideas and, for what seemed about half a day, with both of us to finalise the design. During the whole time he was very patient and accommodating, willing to listen to our harebrained ideas but also explaining the difference in quality you get from going to them, to say buying a ring made from a mould. This was not only reassuring but gave confidence his knowledge and skill would produce the sort of ring we were looking for. Everyone in the shop was charming and not only has a handmade and unique ring been produced that we love, but an experience that will stay with us for as long as the ring! The chance to create your own ring together is one thing but the customer service here is rarely seen on any high street. Needless to say highly recommended!
