"I’ve recently been using the Helios 3F 8’4” 3-weight fly rod. I used the rod on a visit to Pickering Beck in Yorkshire; this is a heavily wooded small stream where roll casting is a necessity. The rod tip is very gentle which means that it cushions the strike on that unexpected big fish that doesn’t move when you set the hook. Don’t let the gentle tip fool you though; the 3F handles big fish well if you make use of the ...strong butt section to put pressure on the fish.
This rod is extremely accurate, great roll casting, delicate presentation, protects fine tippets, handy length when there is overhead cover. If you are looking for a rod that gives delicate presentation of small flies on light tippets combined with the extreme accuracy in delivery that these flies often require, then this rod does it all and does it significantly better than any 3-weight I have previously used" - Don Stazicker

🎣 Chad’s Ultralight Jacket Review 🎣
I’ve owned this jacket for 12 months now. Don’t be deceived by the name. Although it is lightweight, it is not lightweight in what it takes! I’ve dragged this jacket through brambles, against rocks in Scotland, temperatures of -16 and recently two days of heavy persistent rain in a boat on the Rutland, it has never torn, never faulted, and never let a drop of water in.
The pockets are ample for all your accessories and easily fits fly boxe...s in. It has two hand warmer pockets also along with internal pockets. All these stay watertight. I really like the cuffs on them, a dolphin skin cuff system which completely stops the water getting up your sleeves, and are also very comfortable.
All the seams are fully taped and clearly improve the longevity of this jacket. The fleece lined collar is a nice touch and stops any rubbing, and keeps your neck warm when zipped up fully. It’s also incredibly breathable. I will get many more years out of this without a doubt!

However, keep in mind, that the risk of dehydration and heat stroke in dogs rises along with the temperatures of the season - we have put together some helpful tips for you to keep your dog cool in the heat and how to spot if they're too hot:
1.Look out for constant panting and smiling. This may indicate they they are too hot or need a drink. 🐶💧
... 2. Always ensure they have access to plenty of cool water to keep them hydrated - it is advised not to give freezing cold water as this can be a shock to the system if the dog is really warm already. 🐾
3. Always make sure they have access to a cool spot, either in the house or garden so they can escape the sun and heat. ☂️🌞
