Went for the first ever gin tasting afternoon and it was brilliant. Such an interesting afternoon but also a great place and fantastic host, I will definitely be recommending this to others and will 100% be coming back to sample the vast range of gins x

We came to Oscars Yesterday morning! We had a drink of hot chocolate! It was absolutely gorgeous! We will be definitely be coming here again! One of the staff members was lovely too! ☺️✨

My friends and I attended the first gin tasting afternoon, also known as Ginscovery and it was brilliant. Gin made interesting and well worth the money. A great afternoon and a great host, we were made to feel very welcome. Lots of samples, suffice to say we were merry when leaving. Can't wait to visit again and would highly recommend a visit, particularly if you are a gin lover as the staff have a great knowledge in how to mix. Gin Gin �

Lovely staff and a lovely venue..cute little place that doesn’t disappoint. Try the vast amount of cocktails and Gins they have, you won’t be disappointed �

Lovely little bar , I went with my friend last week and the cocktails wear fantastic, the man behind the bar was very friendly and accommodating, hopefully try the food next time x

Love the range of Gin and the staff know so much about how to serve it! Sam the manager is a font of all knowledge with drinks and he and his staff are very friendly.



Lovely range of food and charcuterie as well as hot fresh coffee and cake. Can't fault them.

Love the food, we do eat here fairly regularly but on this occasion the service was very slow. After ordering it took over 30 mins to make a two sandwiches. I'd drunk my coffee way before the food arrived. It wasn't busy at all but obviously not enough staff to cope.

Just moved to the area and I am already feeling at home at Oscars. The food is great and the presentation is so attractive you can't resist anyway! The staff are lovely..just had my third lunch time visit..love this place and can highly recommend. .... Should also comment that the value for money is good also for both wine and food...Can't resist I'll be back again!

Great place for a bite to eat and a few drinks. Good range of beers from Lager to craft beer. Normally have an offering on from Magic Rock. Staff are friendly and great for people watching from the window seats.

Fantastic staff. Especially Sophie who happily made sure everyone was well looked after. A brilliant variety of cocktails which looked and tasted incredible. Will definitely be returning soon well done to all of the Oscars team you are amazing. See you again soon!

Fabulous afternoon tea good selection of sandwiches little bagels added something different good selection of sweet stuff and the scones were lovely and fresh with a good size pot of cream. The waitress was friendly and attentive and it was a great experience a must if you are visiting holmfirth 🖒

Been to Oscar’s many times. We just love the atmosphere and sitting on the stools at the window watching the people of Golmforth go about their business.



We were there with friends in October just as the Ginscovery was about to start, we were still there at the half way break when I bumped in to a friend who said it was a fabulous experience so the 4 of us booked in for the next Ginscovery experience.



We were not disappointed. Steve knows his stuff on all things gin and he’s so enthusiastic. You get lots of samples of different kinds of gins all distilled differently (who knew there were so many variations I always thought gin was gin and it all tasted the same). We are now ginsperts and not to forget the cute little sandwiches. I particularly loved the tiny ham ones made with the cutest little slices of bread - one of our party is gluten free and got his own little plate of sandwiches. Nothing was too much trouble.



Would highly recommend getting yourself booked on the Ginscovery experience.
