Ossett Rugby Description
Both our teams play competitive rugby - our 1st XV in Yorkshire 4, and our 2nd XV in a Yorkshire Merit League.
The season runs August to April, with social events running throughout the year.
We're always happy to see new faces, players and non-players alike. So if you're interested in joining the club, or just want to hear how we're doing, like our page and we'll keep you updated with the latest news.

So , the RFU have calculated the final league standings. We finish in 7th in our first season in Yorkshire 3. We would have probably taken that at the beginning of the season as we were favourites to go straight back down. When you come consider the players we had missing all season, the games we had to play , who knows what might have been. That said, we are delighted with our finish and for our 2nd XV to finish fourth in their Merit league is nothing short of amazing. ... Massive congratulations to our friends Leeds Corinthians up the road at Middleton who get promoted as champions, well done also to Baildon on their promotion. We also have good links with Aireboroughrufc who unfortunately are relegated with Rotherham. We would like to thank all our players , members , supporters , followers and our sponsors along with their families for their support this season. A great season all in all, we look forward to the start of the next one , whenever that may be, stay safe everyone, see you all soon

With the season cut short, I can reveal the top 5 try scorers and matches played.
Thanks to all 66 players who have put on the 2nd XV shirt this year. A respectable 4th place in the league. it could have been higher but its been on of those years with injuries throughout the club, so to remain competitive throughout was a great achievement. We have beaten a lot bigger clubs throughout the year like Cleck 2s, Leos 2s, WPL 2s etc so we are in good sh...ape to kick on again next year.

Guys / Girls As you will all be now aware our mighty club has said we would help any of our members should they fall on difficult times over the coming months. Already this week we have had very generous donations in lieu of this from players ex players members supporters and sponsors.
