Giraffes in Cae Glas Park and a Giraffe in Oswestry Visitor and Exhibition Centre!
Tomorrow 20th April we have a book signing for new children's book 'Araf the Giraffe' from 11am-1pm, all about a Giraffe who begins a new life in Wales! Meet the author and illustrator Steve Reno and Geoff Davenport and have a read of this fun book!
It's also giving nice weather this bank holiday weekend, so why not enjoy a walk around Oswestry's Cae Glas Park afterwards and meet Oswestry's very own giraffes? (They won't try to steal anything from your picnics, I promise!)

Gerry's son John will be discussing his work and his life on Saturday 6th April, from 2pm-4pm. Drop in to find out more about this local artist.
... Grace Jandrell is showing a collection of intricate prints, inspired by the beauty of nature. A mix of black and white, and striking coloured linocuts and digital prints will make an impact on any wall!
Wen Williamson returns with a mix of paintings and textile work - including delicate embroidered pieces and her popular hand dyed silk scarves.
Last but not least we have a collection of figurative ceramics from Hilary Cowley Greer, exploring the form of the human body. A variety of pieces are available, including delicate ceramic jewellery.

Seeing as how today is the First Day of Spring, there's no better time to share our book signing on the 13th April with Vicky Turrell.
Local nature writer and Advertizer columnist Vicky joins us with copies of two of her delightful accounts of local rural areas through the changing seasons; Robin on my Tea Cup, and new release Ducklings on my Doorstep.
We are selling these in special bundles, so you get both titles for £5! Perfect gifts for Mothers or Grandmothers on Mother...s Day, or as seasonal reading over Easter!
