Perfect well designed adventure play area , perfect ice cream such a wide selection, great cafe food and no dogs allowed. Perfect for children and families who have fear of dogs who are unfortunately unable to explore the rest of the otterspool area . I go often . Always great my two love it ! Definitely 5 stars !

User

My daughter had her 5th birthday party here today and she had an amazing time. She and her friends had a ball and loved every second. Jade and Lilly were great and helped with everything we needed - we will be returning and thank you for making my daughters day so special.

User

Had a party last week for my sons nursery graduation and him and his friends had so much fun.

The bands for parties are brilliant as they could all split up to go on activities and go on different ones together without having to get cards stamped etc. Couldnt fault the adventure centre all the activities on offer were so god and staff were all really helpful and friendly.

One thing I would say is whilst the kids were having party food in the ice cream parlour the man behind the counter looked rushed off his feet, maybe add another member of staff in there with him on hot days.

Thank you for an amazing party that Im sure my son and his friends will always remember as it was such a special occasion

User

We loved it here this morning! The play area is fab, especially for toddlers. We paid to go on the bouncing pillows however my 3 year olds couldnt climb or jump on them properly as there was 10+ older kids on them. Would be ideal if there was different sessions for different ages like under 5's and then over 5's or a seperate bouncing pillow for the younger ones. The mini quads were great, my boys enjoyed these but 2 minutes isnt the best of times by the time you get used to the steering with little ones its time to get off. But i guess they have to make there money somehow! Overall it was great, my boys (twins age 3 almost 4) preferred the play area and we will be returning ļæ½.

User

Visited yesterday for first time with my 3 year old who loved it especially the diggers and quads. The only thing I would mention is that given this hot weather the giant bouncy pillow was particularly hot given the direct sunlight on it and the children were still being allowed to go on - a suggestion is maybe purchase some sort of canopy to go above it in this sort of weather ļæ½

Looking forward to our next visit

User

Visited here yesterday with three 2yr olds. The play area didn't have much for their age and so needed parents watch the whole time.also when we got there the tube area was closed off which I think was only closed due to cleaning-this was about 10.30 so should have been cleaned already.the icecream shop was shut and it was quite busy and the place is advertised as selling circa 50 flavours which was t true for us!bouncing pillows was over 2yrs I think so we were allowed on but then when they were on there were much older kids jumping quite high meaning our kids couldn't stand up and got very scared, therefore this really isn't appropriate for mixed ages. Enjoyed the go karts, didn't go on the diggers. The maze was lovely but the flooring needs sorting-it's very uneven and all gravel. My little girl fell in here and has split her knee. Once we got out and asked for first aid the girl didn't know who was on first aid duty and too quite some time to find someone so I'm glad the injury wasn't worse!once found the first aid kit was also inadequately stocked!the girl who helped was lovely though. All in all though we did have a really nice day and would return but would definitely welcome more attractions as we did travel from Wigan area to come and have a look so more would make it worth while.

User

Really enjoyed our visit today. First time we've been since they added the play area. Just a few areas I think management could do with looking at. The ice cream parlour had 1 person working behind the counter today, a really hot bank holiday weekend. I felt so sorry for him, he was rushed off his feet. I waited 35 minutes to be served in what was like a sauna! Also, there's not much shade in the outside areas. I know we don't get much sun, but today was roasting & only 2 tables were in the shade, a parasol on the tables might be a good idea. Also, I think the prices for the 4 areas you have to pay for a bit expensive for what they are. I had 2 kids with me today & paid Ā£5 for them to go on the diggers which lasted about 2 minutes. I don't expect them to be free but think the price is a bit excessive. Would definitely go back, when hopefully there might have been an improvement in these areas...?

User

Just left here with my 3 year old, we paid for him to go on the bounce city and it was great except for the issue of much bigger older children double the size being inconsiderate.. one of whom acknowledged he bounced on my sons leg causing him scream crying in pain and still carry on jumping on his leg instead of moving away or apologising! The girl over looking everything didnt even ask what the situation was or offer to check him even though they are all trained in first aid this is their duty of care surely? The mother didnt even apoligise and seen everything. Weve had to leave right away my child unable to walk or put any pressure on his legs they are like jelly! Height restrictions for certain things should be in place aswell as the age limits.

User

once they get their act together will be nice place.... staff not quite used to working with kids yet.... all gates in maze where open. digger fence needs sanding and kids snack box poor effort despite my pointing out that only crisp option should not be salted as this is bad for kids...... only 8 minutes on trampoline. ..

User

We visited the adventure centre today, It was so nice to see all the entertainment for the children, but the food was not acceptable for the price we paid and for how long we waited and what we got I had to say something. We got a macaroni Cheese it was Macaroni with cheese microwaved on top.... a chicken and mayonnaise sandwich it was dried chicken on bread....2 Deluxe sandwhiches steak caramelized onion and mushroom well it was dried up steak and mushroom not a caramelized onion in sight. I have photos to show you. I really do feel sorry for the staff it was really busy and they were working hard.

User

My grandson loves this place and I enjoy taking him to visit. The staff are really great and very friendly. My only criticisms are the long queues in the cafe. Waiting 20 minutes just to buy a soft drink and an ice cream is really frustrating! You are also , in my opinion, overcharging for food and hot drinks. The Bakewell tarts are sold for Ā£2.75 each !!! You can buy 11 of them from Costco for a fiver! The slices of cake are also Ā£2.75 each!! again you can buy them at Costco for Ā£9.99 for 15 slices. I get that you have to pay for overheads but come on guys at least have some special offers on with a cuppa tea or coffee.

User

Lovely new adventure park but unfortunately the food was massively overpriced. My 3yr old had the lunchbox with a very small sandwich and no fruit on offer, my husband had a chicken mayo sandwich which was Ā£5.95 for 2 slices of standard brown bread with what looked like packed chicken and mayo slopped on. I had a house salad with feta which was lovely but again at Ā£5.95 was overpriced as it was served in what looked like a childā€™s dish and we were all left feeling rather hungry. Will definitely be taking our own packed lunch next time.

User

This place has a real wow factor when you walk in. The free playground is good with the massive exception that the ladder area by the bridge is very unsafe for younger children. The rungs on the ladder are too far apart and there is a very big drop. As a result my (very active) three year old fell and really hurt himself. The additional, paid for activities are very expensive for what you get especially the digggers (Ā£3 for a couple of minutes). In the end we went to the other park across the way. Wonā€™t be back anytime soon.

User

The new play area looks great but actually there isnā€™t an awful lot to do in it, my 4 year old was bored after 5-10 minutes and asking to go to the other park!!

Then thereā€™s the paid for activities, Ā£3 per play is extortionate! You can get ā€˜play passesā€™ which make them a little bit cheaper but only worth it if youā€™ve got several kids or you go there a lot. I saw one Mum return hers for a refund after she realised it wasnā€™t worth the money. The problem is, once young children have seen the activities itā€™s hard to say no so theyā€™ve got you over a barrel!

Although the old soft play area wasnā€™t the best it would keep my son busy for a hour or so come rain or shine, but now visits are limited to dry days. To be honest though I probably wouldnā€™t bother again.

User

The centre itself is attractive and looks appealing, unfortunately there were long queue for paid for attractions, one being the bouncing pillow which was not supervised appropriately, with bigger boys pushing and shoving - with a little one on it this was not good at all, she was scared. The same goes for the inflatables, the obstacle course was full of bigger kids and my little girl nearly got kneed in the face. There was no supervision from staff here at all! The staff on duty are very young and donā€™t seem to have any control over the children playing, the children that are super excited and donā€™t care that there is a little girl there too! Not their fault, should be supervised better. My little one loved the digger and the go kart however, though the time allowed on the paid attractions really isnā€™t very long. I donā€™t think I will be back, which is a shame because I thought we would really enjoy ourselves.

User

Came yesterday, one person manning all 3 attractions which resulted in our children being asked to come off the bouncy pillow after only a few minutes as the girl could not keep track of time aswell as dealing with the go carts & diggers! Itā€™s supposedly 15 mins per bounce! We waited over 15 minuets for the first lot of children to be asked to come off. The poor girl was up the wall with ques for each one.

The amount of time you get on the diggers is awful considering the price too and we never bothered with the go carts as it was so unorganised.

The soft play area was much better!!

User

Came here today with my 2 children aged 3 and 5 would not recommend this place at all when we walked in the lady on the desk were u get ya tickets from was telling me about the play passes I bought the one for 24 pound was not worth the money at all my son went on a few things as we got to the diggers we had to wait cause 2 of the diggers were broke the member of staff said they are supposed to be getting fixed my daughter got bored on most of the things and you haven't got the inside soft play area which my children loved goin to and you have a ice cream barm instead which was empty very over priced for what it was would not come back again

User

They've changed from an adventure park to a baby play area , turned up today after looking at their website and no advice about closures so turned up to do the climbing part and it's closed and only baby bits open so thanks for letting our kids down and keeping your website so informed

User
