Colombian Orthodoxy gin is based on the formula of Dario Parra, former president of the company and lover of gin. After his many extended visits to the UK and of course, enjoying what was for him God's drink, he returned to Colombia determined to create a Colombian Gin. Back home he studied several formulas, based on his experience and finally create Orthodoxy gin. Went for the sharing pie on Sunday for my mum's birthday. Have to say we weren't disappointed. It was amazing. The pie was great, great service, great menu and reasonably priced. We've been a few times now and the food has never disappointed. Great triple cooked chips, and the sharing platters are tasty too.

My husband and I had lunch on Valentine's Day the sandwiches and triple cooked chips were lovely.Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, would definitely go again.

Lovely place, will definitely visit again, didn't eat but will try something next time, the sweet potato fries looked divine! �

I visited yesterday with my friend and my daughter, who is 4. We had breakfast, veggie breakfast and pizza pancake. Absolutely everything with beautiful, not your average ‘fry up’ that’s for sure! Beautiful presentation and crockery, and the staff allowed us to have sausages and beans from the breakfast on a separated plate for my daughter, that’s proper service as there was no way she’d eat a full one! Even the house wine (Pinot) was delicious. We’ve already decided to come back without the car to sample more of the menu and the gin list!! The bar and facilities were immaculate, and even the fixtures and fittings were a talking point! Great atmosphere, can’t wait to come again!

Had a vegetarian breakfast couple of weeks ago and I think it was the best breakfast I have ever had !

Great little place to have a few drinks. Only 1 thing that needs sorting and that’s the sound.

First impression wasn’t too good, all outside tables required cleaning with two members of staff indoors standing about. Asked for table to be cleaned which they did.



Rest was amazing hence 5*. Fisherman’s Platter excellent alongside fries and harissa slaw. Amazing quality and value for money.

Called in for lunch and the food was really good. Bigger inside than they used to be, so plenty of seats inside and out.

Been twice on a Saturday with grandchildren made to feel very welcome excellent service, food & drinks. Mixture of people but not overly busy nice atmosphere.

Absolutely beautiful meal....best ive had in a long time....freshly cooked and puping hot x

The food was lovely and friendly staff.

However I found it very noisy since your extenion and to many tables with the high seats.

Where the extenion is next to the window I think it may be nice to Have some sort of comfy sofa or chairs would be more appealing.

On busy nights have more staff.

First time visit with hubby and friends for my birthday Saturday 23rd sept.

Platters ordered which were lovely.



Friendly staff especially the lady who brought the food out couldn't be more helpful.

Nice atmosphere except music got abit loud so felt like I was shouting at times..

But maybe my age�.

Would have been nice for table to have been wiped when finished eating..

All in all though an enjoyable night.

At one point, 4 staff behind the bar, with two people (me and another guy) to serve. Other guy gets served by one of the bar staff and two others spend several mins talking about his tattoos. The remaining lad behind the bar casually starts chatting to his mate ����





Apart from being poor service, it's downright rude !!!



Not rushing back

Came with our friends on Friday night. We ordered food which came in good time and was delicious apart from the sweet potato fries which were like chewing cardboard unfortunately. The place is lovely only other down side was the music it got far too loud to the point where we were having to shout at each other to be heard which was a little uncomfortable, it's a classy wine bar not a chavy bar in town after all. The lighting kepting changing which was a bit odd too? All that said I do love our visits here and I'm putting it down to 'one of those nights' we will definitely be back.

Visited yesterday for breakfast, I had eggs benedict and a latte and enjoyed it, atmosphere was nice. Only downside was my husband had a small breakfast and was told there was no sausages therefore they could add extra bacon, it just seemed poor customer service as there is a butchers and a convenience store which neighbor the wine bar therefore they could have got some and just explained to customers that it's not their usual sausages but at least it would be trying to sort the situation. Another couple at the side of us left after hearing they had no sausages as they were annoyed that the problem was extremely solvable but yet they didn't sort it.

Me and my family went on Saturday, 4 ppl, ordered platters there was things missing off the platters, we told the staff who sorted it out, cut into the quiche and it was frozen!! Again complained to the staff who took it back to the kitchen, we got a free round of drinks for all the mistakes, not really good enough when ppl could have ended up with food poisoning, shocking service won't be returning
