About Ou Students Association

We love OU students!
Welcome to The Open University Students Association: your link with the OU Student Community.

Ou Students Association Description

Your Open University (OU) Students Association enables you to influence how your University is run. We exist to promote your interests and to ensure the OU is more than just a place of learning - it’s a student community.

The Students Association is your link to other students and offers opportunities to get involved, find information and news, get help, attend events and access services to support your learning.

Each student registered with the OU, automatically becomes part of the Students Association. It’s run by students, for students via a network of local assemblies and representatives throughout the OU nations and regions, as well as operating centrally.

The Students Association has students representing the student voice at the highest levels of the OU decision-making structures. We also facilitate groups, such as the Disabled Students Group, to ensure support and representation for our members.

Our purpose is outlined as part of the University’s Student Charter and we’re assessed and driven by results of the National Student Survey that tell us how satisfied you are with your Students Association.
