Trans Aware in partnership with The Student Living Company are proud to launch the "Our House" project. The first of its kind in the UK.

Based in the heart of Stockton-on-Tees we have built a community residential safe space for those who are at risk of homelessness, those who are not fully accepted in their home environment and those who are living in isolation.

Young people can use this as a stepping stone on their journey towards independence. There is no limit to the time of their residence.

Older people who are living isolation are able to enjoy the community aspect of living in a well equipped home with like minded people, this removes the stress of having to exist without the constant questioning about their identity that is often faced by those living or coming out as trans.

We are very thankful for the assistance from The Student Living Company to make the dream a reality.

Our House Stockton is close to all amenities and is regarded as the flagship of the project, that can, and will, be replicated in other areas. Affordable rent which includes gas, electric, water rates and WIFI.
