Went for a cone of chips walking back from work earlier, Oliver was just doing fresh chips. Nice to see somewhere making them nice and fresh as some places just give you left overs from the night before. Friendly staff, both Oliver and his assistant. I can see now why they get the best awards for Chip Shop of the year. I'll certainly be coming here again soon.

We travel 60 miles to Our Plaice from Bourton-on-the-water in the Cotswolds for the best fish and chips in the world. My other halfs car will not go past without pulling in to the car park lol . When our relatives hear we are coming to Our Plaice the phone doesn't stop ringing with there orders to bring back they love the taste of Our Plaice. You have a fantastic team there always smiling and helpful and always willing to have a laugh. Long may you reign as the Best Fish and Chip shop in the world.

We have always used this lovely chippy as the food is always hot and freshly made, friendly service and we’ve never had a problem with any order!!! So today, we decided to try out the delivery service and as we thought we were not disappointed. Food arrived on time and not a minute late and was pipping hot despite the falling snow outside!!! Thank you so much, we will highly recommend you to family and friends ���

This is always the highlight of my visit to the Midlands. Great chips but I love the scallops! Surprised to find a few extra in my order this year - thanks! See you next year!

The kebabs here are absolutely top notch ,the Mrs swears by the grilled fish too , it’s an option you can’t often get too ! Chips are nice and the staff are fantastic. Recommend

Order a home delivery tonight and can honestly say the food came exactly on time, piping hot and was an excellent standard. A nice Christmas treat after a very busy day.

Ive tried all the local chip shops ( I live in Hurst Green ) and have to pass 4 other chip shops to get to Our Plaice and why ,,because they are the best for flavour and friendly service..

Go here regularly. The chips are very tasty and the fish with its batter is beautiful. Batter is crisp and golden. Fish is soft and succulent.

Fantastic service & the food is absolutely delicious highly recommend especially the chicken burgers & the chips are the best I've tasted in a long time

Fab quality fish and chips! But not only that they have a great selection of choices which is all great. Lovely friendly people and they also cater for large parties.

Drove Dad up to the Midlands yesterday to visit friends and family and as always one of the highlights of the trip was a visit to Our Plaice - excellent fish and chips and there's always a warm welcome there. Dad has been going there for over 10 years and says that the standard of cleanliness and quality of the food has always been exemplary.

Always walk in to a warm welcome with friendly service in a clean shop. The taste, freshness and quality is always a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating from us. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for Fish & Chips, even our dogs love the scallops as a treat....

A massive Thank You to Our Plaice for catering for our Wedding Reception last night. Delivered fresh and on time 150 portions of quality Roe & Sausage with chips. Would highly recommend anyone to do this for a party it takes away all the stress and is so much better than a buffet !! Thanks again Our Plaice you really were fantastic xx

Disappointed.. looking forward to a great chippy from my favourite place and they forgot my roe that i ordered ... GUTTED ����

What has happened to this place? This used to be the best chip shop for miles. I just ordered a pie and chips £4.20, the pukka pie is as standard but the chips were vile. Most were black, the quality of the potato they use is now much lower. There is no flavor to them anymore and they were as dry as Ghandis flip flops. The owner of this place used to take pride in the food and it was always a very busy place. The management has either changed or the owner no longer cares. I don't know why they have so many good reviews.

Really disappointed today had 5 cone's of chips cost £1.20 each opened them and was just a handful of chips in the bag.

I know its only a cone but would expect a few more for the price.
