About Outburst
outBurst is a group for young people who are 11-19 and identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender or are questioning their sexuality. outBurst meets every Wednesday night at the NGY myplace on Castle Gate from 6pm until 8pm.

Tonight we're doing a session on safety on the internet and then we'll be having rainbow sparklers! Wrap up warm, we'll be heading outside!
Thanks to all those who carved pumpkins in last week's session, the space is looking spooky and ready for the party tomorrow!
Quick reminder - Tomorrow's session will be at the earlier time of 17:30-19:30. (Come in the daytime for the theatre project and chocolate apple making!).

Went during my time I moved to Nottingham for a little bit, didn't really know anyone in the city at the time but was made to feel really welcome, something for everyone and Nicci makes it even more amazing.
My daughter has been attending Outburst for about a year and she absolutely loves it here. She has made some really good friends and they all attended Pride 2018 together, right there with the Outburst banner.
Its so supportive and relaxed, everyone's welcoming and as of yet there hasn't been a feud. There is also support offered for LGBT youth by the legions of workers at its base, the NGY building. I think the facilities and friendly environment coupled with professionalism creates an ideal place for the young LGBT community to be cared for and helped through struggles with sexuality identity and all the other issues that come with that.
It's a great place to just hang out and they do activities (random as they may be lol) which are fun.
