What a lovely place nice decor. Staff attentive and friendly it was quite busy for a Tuesday afternoon obviously poplar with ladies who do lunch ! The food was good tasty and average price. All in all a pleasant experience and we will visit again.

Went yesterday for lunch food is fab great menu to choose from, surroundings are lovely as are the staff. Highly recommended x

The food and service was 1st class

Went for a family birthday party Sunday afternoon. Was a last minute booking. The food was lovely especially the king prawns in garlic butter and the pannacotta was to die for. My favourite dessert yum yum. Never heard of it before but would definitely recommend it good selection of food and reasonably priced. Didnt have long to wait and wasnt rushed with each course. Would definitely go back

We had lunch in here on an ale trail tour and it was fantastic, the drink, food and the service was second to none. Highly recommended.

We came as a party of 9 last night as a very last minute booking, and we were welcomed openly even though the main restaurant was full.



We were seated in the bar area, and it was lovely.



The staff are very attentive and hospitable, and the menu had a great selection with ŌĆ£specialsŌĆØ too.



The food was wonderful, and everything was served as requested by each person...a rarity in most restaurants!



We were there around 3 hours with no rush given by the staff to leave, and we all had a fantastic evening.



We would highly recommend Owens.

WasnŌĆÖt planning on going into this place but so glad we did. Everything was great. Staff were very friendly. Food was very very nice. Would definitely go back.

The food is excellent the staff brilliant nothing is too much trouble owners friendly and they mingle. Highly recommend Owens. Only thing is if it gets any more popular I won't be able to get in ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Our usual haunt for lunch was closed and lucky us! We found this great place which was not only really busy for a Thursday lunch time (good sign) it had the most welcoming and attentive staff and immaculate surroundings (I observed who I assumed to be the owner on his knees with a dust buster before a party took their table!). Add to that an impressive menu and a good selection of wines and it had the makings of a fab lunch! They did not disappoint - Phil had the monk fish, salmon and prawn dish and I had the home made cheese pie. After our black pudding starters we were stuffed!! Fabulous food all the way!!! Well done!!!

Food was gorgeous , nicest cheese n onion pie I have eaten whilst out dining ! All our meals were delicious and piping hot.

First time i have been . But definitely will be going back food first class and service was great thank u

Absolute amazing food ! Me and my daughter came on sat afternoon we had fish platter to share ! Yummy and a small portion main to die for ! Its my 2nd time and can't wait to go back ’┐Įwould defo recommend it ’┐Į

Went last night booked a table for 4 about 3 weeks ago when we arrived no record of our booking, staff very apologetic n said they would sort us a table had to remind them over 30 minutes later , by the time we were eating starters it was 9 pm original reservation was 7.30 ’┐Į food was ok not great definitely not worth the money ’┐Į staff were very friendly n good service we were given 20% discount on bill for mix up on booking which was very good of the manager ’┐Į don't think I'll be going again tho ’┐Į

Food was fabulous.. lovely place .

However we went in at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon and was told it was fully booked for the whole evening .

We said that we would be gone in an hour. However we were told there was no room in the restaurant.

We ate in the bar and like I said the food was lovely we thoroughly enjoyed it .

However when we left all the tables were still empty in the restaurant.

ItŌĆÖs a shame they must be losing so much business when they are turning people away when there are empty tables .

However lovely place and we will try it again .

just had a full breakfast with you and it was horrible the sausages had a funny taste to them the bacon was undercooked and you forgot the egg which you did bring out to us but won't be coming back always had a nice food with you but that was a huge disappointment for ┬Ż8.50

I was really disapointed with my meal ordered the pork dinner which was more expensive than chicken or beef when it came was a fatty pork chop not very nice
