Owl & Falconry Centre

Really good we saw the owl display which was brilliant and the talk was great not to be missed. Everything could do with a little updating and I think they are getting new aviary centre so this time next year we shall see

A superb place to visit and I highly recommend. The birds are well kept and looked after correctly (read, you're not allowed to pet them because it's bad for them and potentially bad for your fingers, the staff here made a point of making that known!) They have a nice range of birds, some of which I'd never seen before in real life, including a Bald Eagle and Hooded Vulture. There a multiple flying displays each day, with something different being flown in each. Whilst not every bird is flown on a single day, all birds do fly regularly for their well-being.

On the subject of staff, they are all incredibly knowledgeable and easy to get on with, especially the gentleman who did both flying displays when we were there (unfortunately I didn't catch his name) and talking to him afterwards revealed he is a man of many interesting stories that I could listen to all day.

Highly recommended for anyone who loves birds, or people looking for a fun, interesting, and educational day out!

Set in a beautiful part of the Isle of Wight, where you can learn about the birds of prey and watch them in action with stunning displays. Also fun for the young ones as there's a activity area and animals to see.

Fantastic day out, brilliant flying displays with an amusing and engaging trainer who also provided interesting facts about the birds. Small but pleasant cafe and shop. Extensive grounds around the old disused manor hiuse. Great value.
