It's not an easy watch but we think this is one of the best campaigning films that Oxfam has made recently - in response to the world's worst humanitarian crisis, in Yemen. The film argues that the people of Yemen are not starving; they are being starved.
Continuing conflict, airstrikes and restrictions on imports have left 14 million people facing famine in Yemen. Nearly half of all children aged between six months and five years are chronically malnourished. Before this war, Yemen was already one of the poorest countries in the Middle East. Its citizens relied on imports for 90 per cent of their food. Over three years of violence has pushed the country to the brink of famine.

Got a pair of unwanted jeans? You know where to bring them!!!

The Mother's of India Incenses packs are now in our Oxfam shops and whilst you think they only change the atmosphere in your home , here's an example of how they change the world! Check out the pictures as well!
In 2017 the funds raised by selling these incenses were donated to the Joliba Trust, who used the money to pay for technical advice and the materials needed to build a well in the village of Sèhé Koura, located in a remote area of Mali.
The men of the village volunt...eered their labour and dug for 2 months to reach the water table at 24m depth
The well is of the same type as the one in the picture (which was taken in a different village), and has a sturdy metal frame to haul the water up with, and is large enough to allow several people to draw water at the same time, avoiding queues. It also has a perimeter wall, and a separate trough to allow animals to drink.
Life for the 400 inhabitants of Sehecoura is completely transformed just because YOU bought a pack of incenses ! Now how amazing is that ?!
