Oxford Brookes Intensive Foundation Portfolio

Our three month programme, which has entry points in September, January and June will prepare you for entry to higher education and more specialised courses in art, design and related subjects and is an alternative route into national and international Art and Design courses. It culminates in the award of an Oxford Brookes University Certificate at Level 4 and is worth 60 CATS points.

Our Intensive Foundation Portfolio programme is designed to provide a base from which you can begin your professional education. The experience you gain during the programme will allow you to make a considered and informed decision about your choice of specialist subject. You will learn in a lively and stimulating environment from tutors and visiting lecturers who are themselves practising artists and designers.

The good reputation of the Oxford Brookes Art and Design Foundation courses are based on effective teaching and placement and results in our students gaining places into their first or second choice places at their chosen university.
