Oxford Equestrian Description
After delving into the Equestrian world after a late start, I purchasing my first horse at 15 years old and instantly fell in love knowing it was for life.
After purchasing a scruffy off-the-track ex-racehorse (Beau) with no experience, I jumped onto trying to achieve my dream - competing successfully at a high level in British Eventing. Beau and I had to learn together but after years of persevering we finally managed to put one foot in front of the other and start competing successfully at BE100.
Due to injury he is now retired and having some well deserved down-time, however the new kid on the block 'Izzy' (Dawn Story) is an exciting prospect sure to climb the BE levels with ease!
Since the age of 17 I have been backing, training and competing horses to generate income, and also offer these services to clients. Through this I have gained invaluable knowledge and adaptable riding skills to suit horses from 11. 2hh HOYS ponies to extravagant Warmbloods and quirky youngsters!
