Well what can i say about the oxford ice rink its amazing ive only been there for 2 months and i really love it. The people that work there they are amazing they was all there for me and that i go there every weekend

User

We Visit here on a weekly basis, my Daughter who is 8, her dad and I have made so many friends with staff and other regular visitors (our ice rink family ) The staff are so friendly and helpful and will go to extensive length to ensure people have an enjoyable and safe skate.

User

Me and my daughter have recently joined and the staff are great and helpful. My issue is the car park prices are ridiculously high hopefully they go down when the westgate opens.

User

Lovely clean rink with great facilities, the only downside is the parking is a bit expensive. It was lovely to see it so busy, they were queuing out the door to get in, Southampton City Council take note!!!

User

I've been coming back recently after about 20 years. I love it it's still the same since it opened in the 80s. And it makes me feel young again.

User

I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed skating. The parking was expensive, however the admission tickets were discounted on presentation of parking ticket. There was quite a queue to get in, but staff were friendly and facilities clean. It was a shame that the far end was marked off for private lessons as it meant the children were unable to follow the barrier all the way around, and had to cross the middle, the public area was also fairly crowded - but we all had a thoroughly good morning.

User

I think it's great fun even if your bad you can still go on the ice. . . It's amazing fun. Love it x

User

I had a similar experience to Steve. Do not lick this ice. Could have put a warning on that! Staff are just super though. That Vinnie as well, what a joker! I'd definitely go again but I'll bring my own licking ice next time! £5.00 a bag if anybody is interested?

An ice hockey rink Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, United Kingdom. It's everything a hockey rink should have in Oxford except a library and spires. (I'm not sure about AND drinks because the restaurant area was closed.) In appearance, it's rinkish enough. The ice resurfacing machine (as of Nov 2016) was a newish Olympia model; not a Zamboni, but since the NHL also uses the former (even the Toronto MakeBelieves at one point some years ago) that's acceptable. The outside appearance is not quite up to the standards of the rink in Davis, Switzerland; on the other hand nobody's asking you if you want to buy an expensive watch or good chocolate. Also, you don't have to walk through or past mountains of snow to find a St. Bernard for a legged. But let's get back the mere fact of the ice rink for ice hockey in Oxford, the home of erudition in England. Think about the implications. Next thing you know Oxford will be importing young Canadians who purport to be students and hockey players. And older Canadians who claim to have once been - once students and hockey players, not once Canadian - even if they're in the rink that day for other purposes, too. Good thing the rink is used for other purposes, such as figure skating.

User

Very helpful staff and friendly:-)...the children love the experience they would want to come again for more

User

Toilets were filthy as always and there was no hand wash. But otherwise it was good. Place needs a bit of modernising as it still looks the same from about 10+years ago

User

Lovely show.. Great to see young skaters showcase their talented skating. We enjoyed the champion skaters performances too.. Only minor thing it did go on for nearly 2.5 hours.. A bit too long for a family show..I still recommend it.

User

Friends,Family and I are went yesterday to watch men hockey. Absolutely we love it. Great view. Only think was very hard to get the drinks other wise fab.

User

Kids have had a couple of goes skating at Millets Farm. This was a bit of a step up, ice was a bit more difficult to skate but they managed it. Good for them to have space to practice. Disappointed they didn't do the double blade skates for my youngest. And price of skating aids a bit steep, £4 for half an hour. We'll go back though. I might even take some lessons.

User

Great value if you go when there's 2 hours free time. Sometimes spoilt a little by some idiots racing around the rink causing novice skaters to get out of the way or fall over.

User

Access into the rink is a bit dodgy for disabled people, there is a long ramp into the premis and this time of year it’s covered in wet leaves making it slippery, once inside I must say that the rink staff were very helpful indeed, ensuring I could sit comfortably with a good view of the women’s ice hockey game. All in all a positive experience, all thanks to the courtesy of the rink staff👍

User

Went for my sons ice hockey game and heard the Oxford coach tell his team to rip their heads off an annihilate them! The DJ actually called one of our players-who’s 14- a f-ing TWAT!!! Yeah not impressed! When complained we were told we would have to leave! Thankfully security were on our side and we stayed to watch us defeat Oxford U18sB lose 12-1! Paid £3.50 for 24hr parking which was fine but anyone with half a brain would struggle with the machine! 😀

User

The parking charges are unbelievable and because we were there for game we don't get a disscount and the facilities need a lot of improving don't look to clean and the staff in a cafe was nowhere to be seen so couldn't even get serverd wish I didn't have to travel there again but being and ice hockey mum will have too

User

The manager who was on duty on Sunday 25th June 2017 called Sam was rude! Other than him my family and a friend enjoyed our time there.
