Oxford's 1st Introduction Course to Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

This unique and innovative course is aimed at junior Doctors AND Dentists level, to provide an extensive one day induction at SHO level.

This course is designed to be the ultimate preparation for new OMFS SHOs to the speciality, or other junior doctors who want to increase their confidence and competence in dealing with OMFS emergencies.

The course will include a innovative wet-lab suturing session, on animal model developed uniquely by us, to allow hands on training with intra-oral plus extra-oral suturing.

Focused afternoon breakout sessions targeted to the different needs of doctors and dentists.

Small group discussions and hands on real-life scenarios, including ATLS and ALS scenarios relevant to OMFS.

The course will also include an bonus interactive hands-on plating session, to provide an insight for the facial fractures fixation principles.

The course will be held at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals.
A busy Level 1 trauma centre and a major OMFS referral unit.

The course is heavily subsidised by our sponsors, to an excellent course fee of £40, including lunch, course dinner and refreshments.
