Techy Friday : More measuring in the engine room today. Marposs M1 air used to measure conrod and shell bearing sizes. Thanks to Marposs who made the V4R size calibration tools for us. Rod > crank clearance is crucial and now we can measure the rod with bearing installed to 0.0001mm without contact on the delicate shell bearing.

Round 12 – Brands Hatch Final
The final round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship took place this weekend at Brands Hatch. Tommy Bridewell and the Oxford Racing Ducati team had everything to play for going into the last round and they had to ensure they worked hard to secure third place in the Championship. With three races this weekend Tommy was eager for some good results, he secured a second, third and another second in a nail biting final race of the day.

Third in the Championship standings here is what Tommy had to say ....

Tommy was in another hard fight for the win today in race two at Brands Hatch, he pushed hard throughout the race and secured another strong third place finish.
He set another fastest lap of the race and will start from pole position for the final race of the season at 4pm today.

Another great result for Tommy Bridewell in race one at Brands Hatch.
In the opening part of the race Tommy was hunting down Brookes for the win but the red flag came out. On the restart Tommy just wasn’t able to bridge the gap but was able to secure another second place.
We’re looking forward to both races tomorrow. ✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼

Tommy Bridewell will start from fourth place on the grid for race one this afternoon. The team have been working hard all weekend to find a suitable set up and we are looking forward to the opening race at 4pm

The sun came but then the heavens opened again causing the second session to be damp in places
We are looking forward to FP3, qualifying and the race tomorrow
