About Oxford Sling Library
Sling hire and professional advice available to all who are interested in using slings and baby carriers safely.
Oxford Sling Library Description
We are a community organisation offering advice and skilled demonstrations on all types of slings suitable from birth (including premature babies) until preschool.
We hire out slings, baby carriers and specialised baby-wearing clothing to parents /carers across Oxford(shire) (subject to deposit and T& C's).
We have a huge range of options to accommodate you and your babies needs.
Oxford Sling Library is a non-for-profit venture and all monies pay directly for room hire, refreshments, sling purchasing etc.
All our sling fitters and demonstrators are trained as Peer Supporters or Consultants / Sling Educators.
Oxford Sling Library and volunteers (we are all unpaid volunteers no matter what level of training attained) are fully insured by BGI.

Come and find us at Flo's today! This is our last library of the Summer. (it's all blue skies above those ^rainclouds you know:). We have loads of slings/baby carriers/ring slings/all sorts available for hire to last you until September.
Just TWO more sling libraries this week until we close for the Summer. Thursday in WOCC, Botley Road and Friday at Flo's - new venue, Rymers Lane. I have (surprisingly) 3x mesh Ergo 360's in stock. They will be wasted sat in the cupboard until September=>Please come and hire them! Lots of other Summer stock & cool towels for sale also available. All Summer our hires are long hires (8 weeks) to cover us being closed for August. Carry coolly all Summer!

This Friday12th July is OUR LAST ever sling library at St Alban's Hall. We've had a great 5 years at this venue as as a leaving party farewell, we will offer a regular sling library (2x sling fitters = we can aim to see 12x people), with a selection of Summer party food and we have arranged for the wonderful Willow & Pea Photography to come with their mobile studio. Today is the LAST woven wrap workshop (Crazy Little Sling) before the Summer Holidays. We had a lovely relaxed time at St Albans Hall yesterday. Did you know that we have just one more event there before we move venue permanently?
Today's tester sling library session at the South Oxford Family Room went well. Busy>>Very busy which was expected with OBS and OSL in the same room! We will be thinking about how to organise our sign in sheet/seeing you in the order that you arrive as it was not so clear as our other venues. If any of you have any feedback from today, feel free to post your comments below or PM us.
