An expensive place,sad that it was taken over all those years ago.I used to love the Talbot but 'progress' can't be stopped it seems.There was a much more relaxed atmosphere in the 80s and early to mid 90s when an excellent blues band played on Friday nights.

Rather upmarket. But they were desperate for custom so let us in. Good service. Beer good. Happy to go again.

Great service and a friendly hospitable atmosphere. Glorious food and a fabulous drinks selection Perfect way to while away an afternoon.

Very nice bar. Trendy sort of crowd. Good beers and wines. Serves cocktails. Live music on weekends. Rather expensive though. Location also a little limiting. Good service though. Very nice food.

After being seated. I waited 20 minutes, no one asked what drink I would like and no menu was given to me. It seemed I was invisible. However I have eaten there before and the food is wonderful. The service I experienced was very poor. I left and went somewhere else.....

Dark and chilled look to this very trendy bar, food is simple. but alot of time has been taken over it. Can't walk in, in work wear and need a token to get out the gate which means parking is so much better than it used to be. Oh and there's a cash point just across the street which is handy. :)

Serves local real ale so it gets 4 stars. Staff were friendly. Interior is kind of tired trendy bar architecture. Nice outdoor seating area.

The food is delicious, lovely location, friendly staff. The scallop and black pudding starter is really nice, the burger is one of the best around.
