Oystercatchers Café Description
The coolest little cafe in town, come and have an amazing freshly ground coffee, our beautiful butternut squash lasagne, or our fisherman's breakfast feast.
Chill out on the sofas, next to the open fire, read a book from our bookswap, or one of our magazines. Connect to the wi-fi and surf the net whilst the kids enjoy the toy box and games. Feeling sociable? Why not pop in at the weekend when we have live local musicians, or if you're feeling the need for some intellectual stimulation why not come to one of our science cafe evenings with guest speakers, and a wide variety of topics for you to debate.
All of our food is cooked to order and sourced from local suppliers, our staff are always friendly and happy to help (and quite easy on the eye).

Science Cafe is coming up again this Friday 24th and we have some great menu choices planned:
~Herb crusted West Country shoulder of lamb with dauphinois potatoes and a redcurrant jus.
~Confit duck leg on a bed of spring onion mash with braised red cabbage and redcurrant & plum sauce.

We have 4 cheese Mac & Cheese Bombs 💣 on as a special today. Think of a scotch egg but instead it’s bursting with cheesy loveliness and coated in a crispy smoked paprika tinged crumb. We’re serving them with baby leaf salad, sweet chilli dip and garlic bread. Yum fest!
Also, we have Steak & Ale Pie on the menu, served with roast new potatoes and garden peas. Dive in!
The cafe has been filled with the smell of freshly baked cakes today! Ben has been a busy bee 🐝

Pork belly with Colcannon mash, rosemary, cider and rhubarb gravy and seasonal vegetables.
The crumble of the day is blackberry & apple with oat and hazelnut crumb served with ice cream, custard or cream.
How about a lovely warming soup to prepare you for storm Freya? Today's soup of the day is Spicy Thai Chicken and Vegetable Broth and we are serving it with freshly made prawn crackers and a half baguette. Enjoy!
Hello lovely friends, We are trying out a new egg dish this week as a special: ~Eggs Mexicana~ 2 poached eggs on a toasted muffin and topped with freshly homemade guacamole and a cheeky sprinkle of smoked paprika. Go on, try it - you've guac nothing to lose :-D
