Customer complained of a loss of the clutch pedal. Collected and on investigation discovered that the concentric slave cylinder had failed (leaking), which was caused by the clutch pressure plate failing. Also the car had previously been to a VW garage for a gearbox repair, but had been done very badly 😠

Replacing a faulty manual gear selector switch and broken wire on a Nissan Automatic. Removing the center console and dismantling the gear selector to access.

Changing a clutch kit and DMF on a Volvo V50, due to the concentric Slave Cylinder collapsing and causing brake fluid to leak all over the clutch.

Changing a clutch and DMF on a Mini Cooper Clubman 1.6D.

Timing chain had gone on a 2008 Mini Cooper 1.6 Petrol making a hole in the top casing. Ordered a replacement bare engine. Removed the old engine, swapped all components and reassembled. Changed the oil and oil filter, topped up the antifreeze and good to go 😊

Customer complained of a poor clutch, on investigation discovered that the input shaft seal had failed on the gearbox, contaminating the clutch with gearbox oil, this was on a 2014 Hyundai I20.
