Hello everyone we are now a drop in centre all week for all affected by the floods we have a team of professional people to give you advice if you have any questions or need any help please don't hesitate to pop in!! free tea or coffee and mince pies & free WiFi

We went for Sunday lunch as we had previous years. The beef just melts in your mouth and the overall taste of the lunch was amazing!

The menu choice is great.

The staff are very warm and welcoming and dogs are welcome which makes it even better! Thank you pack horse will be recommending you to all out friends

We had a lovely meal I had lamb shank and it was excellent nice when you can take your dog

Visited with a large group of friends post-ghyll scrambling. Food was tasty and very reasonably priced (I had steak pudding with veggies which was about £10). Great atmosphere and the staff were lovely.

Very welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Great menu and food was excellent. Nice to see dogs made welcome too. Would highly recommend.

Stop for tea had a lovely meal friendly bar staff and waiters excellent.

Outstanding food. I had the Sunday roast but asked if I could swop the roast potatoes for boiled one, no problem with the request. My husband had the lamb shank, it just fails off the bone.

I would highly recommend the Pack Horse for food , drink and the overall atmosphere. We think it’s the best pub in Keswick and this is why we always go back.

It was great pop up without booking service and food was good the portion is massive I even finish it the chips but I ate all the Scampi ���

I rang at 6pm to book a table for 5 of us for 7.15. We had a great time and the food was lovely. We'd gone for the quiz (which was meant to start at 9.30. At 10.00 we were still waiting for the quiz sheets. So we decided to leave. It was far too late to start a quiz. For some reason it was running late. A bit annoying as we were really looking forward to it.

Great food served by lovely bar staff. Clean and pleasant surroundings. Dog friendly. Would definitely eat here again.

Great food excellant portions. Staff were very welcoming and frienly. Stunning setting. I will be returning any time im down in Keswick.

Excellent pub. Walked in from marysmount to b welcomed with a nice pint of dizzy blond And a seat at the fire. Excellent pub for dogs even better than dog and gun Food lovely aswell. Cheers

Excellent as always! Loved my veg and bean jambalaya and my wife enjoyed her scampi. Top notch!

Called in for lunch hubby had the gammon and I had chicken and leek pie . Both meals beautiful and will definitely be coming back again �

Always a regular food stop for myself and friends whether it be a day trip to the lakes or a long weekend.

Food is always fantastic and hearty, staff are polite and welcoming and being a dog friendly pub is always a note with me.

After a 10 mile hike around Derwent water we stopped off for a well earned lunch. Warm baguettes, hot crunchy chips and cold beer! Just lovely!

Absolutely lovely place with lovely atmosphere. Great food and friendly staff. Great first experience in Cumbria!!

Lovely atmosphere, good entertainment & location. We were able to bring the dog in, which was a bonus. My only reason for not giving it a 5 is because I ordered my steak medium and it was very well done. I would definitely go back though

Competently run pub. Beer good if a bit pricey - but one can say that about most pubs in Keswick!

The fish was avarage but frozen over cooked chips let it down for me and my partner's veg was like rubber microwaved to much and frozen chips for price should be real chips

Big question. You go in a pub and knock your pint over as bar man gives it to you. You've already paid and he pulls you another one straight away without asking. If you were bar man would you charge for it? Well shame on you Pack Horse in Keswick, no customer relation skills there!!! My old local too
