When to Padrino before show at cliff's pavilion, first time visit. Food was really tasty, hot, service excellent. We shared the starter of brushetta, nice lot of garlic, maybe would have liked toast little crispier. Main lovely, both had tiramisu for dessert, so large, next time we will share.

We had a family meal at Padrino to celebrate my eldest son and my birthday. The meal was lovely and the staff were always on hand if you wanted anything. I cannot fault them for anything. I would recommend them to anyone who asked where to go for a good meal at reasonable prices.

We booked another restaurant for my step daughers birthday meal and turns out the restaurant had closed. So there was 7 of us at the last minute trying to find an italian. Padrino thankfully for us had a cancellation and they accomodated us within 10 mins. Every single staff member were absolutely adorable and attentive. They gave us great service, oustanding food and they even took the time to light candles and sing my step daughter happy birthday, so thoughtful. We had an amazing night and are so grateful they managed to seat us. Thank you to you all for a smashing evening. We will definately be back xx

My new favourite Italian 🇮🇹 Amazing menu choice, everything was cooked perfectly and we all had different items, seafood, meat, pizza and pasta. Extremely warm and lovely staff and very accommodating for children, we can’t wait to come back x

My favourite Italian restaurant in Essex. The food choices are extensive and as well as the usual dishes you'd expect to see in any Italian (pasta pizza etc) they also serve veal which I love and much more variety than chains like Prezzo or Bella Italia. The food is gorgeous and plentiful portions too. The staff are lovely and it feels like they are a family (I'm not sure if they are) attentive and accomodating. Been here many times and will keep going back.

Lovely atmosphere. Food was amazing. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant & helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal & shall definitely be returning.



Mussels to start were divine. The risotto was so tasty and the apple crumble cheesecake was one of the best sweets I've ever had.

Just had an excellent meal for an early Mother’s Day with my partner, Mum and brother & Sister in law, everyone came away completely stuffed! Starters and mains all round with (non alcoholic) drinks and even a couple of desserts plus coffees and all for less than £30 a head! Outstanding value! Lovely food and excellent waiting staff! A really good homely atmosphere, an excellent place to eat! grazie per un pasto fantastico ��

Just got home from the restaurant we had a fantastic night there was 8 of us for my birthday and also Jeff's birthday the staff couldn't do enough for us they were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble we even had our desserts with a candle in them and they sang us happy birthday will definitely be going again absolutely loved the whole evening xxxx

Have been here a few times with my husband /brother and sister in law the food is excellent the staff are very friendly if your looking for a 5* meal this is your place

Great place albeit a lot less fancy obviously italiany decor than it's neighbouring places, the food and portion sizes are superb, and good vfm too! Had the spicy tomato flat bread to start, very garlicky...loved it and mushroom tortellini which was bursting with flavour. Partner has ricotta canneloni three large glass of wine all came to £40.00 , advise booking early��

Good food as always at a reasonable price and the staff are top notch also

Excellent meal and great staff and service

Called in without booking a table & seated immediately. Service is very good with polite, courteous staff. Food is fresh & very tasty, very good value for money. Enjoyed the meal & will visit again prior to going to The Cliffs.

Beautiful food reasonably priced and great service. The restaurant was very full, we were lucky to get in so I'd recommend booking in advance if you're in the area. A real gem, thank you.

Went here for dinner last night. Didn't book but they managed to squeeze us in but stessed we could only have the table for an hour. The staff were very nice. The pasta/pizza prices were really reasonable and tasted wonderful. Looking forward to going back and having more leisurely dinner here.
