its testament to Mike and his guys that after not setting foot in the shop for a few years due to moving away, when I did he knew my name and asked how the bike I'd last bought 6 years previously was going. In a world where customer service is often too fake, this place re sets the bar. Genuine people in a well stocked shop.

Rang up just as they were closing to ask if they could fix my brakes - was on day 5 of JOGLE, but brakes had just failed. Said to call back in the morning and Mike came and opened shop half an hour early to get me back on the road. Fantastic service!

Excellent service, great range of bikes and equipment. It's ran by people who care about what they seek above all else, and who go out of their way to ensure you're happy.

Pro tip: always go to your local bike shop (LBS) rather than a chain, as they care a lot.

we called in here on the way to land end at the end of july witha broken chain and a broken back wheel the staff droped everything they were doing and did our bikes within half hour and sent us on our way we made it to lands end 7 days later with no more trouble, top bike shop we thank you for all your help

I took my bike in to have its bottom bracket shell rethreaded and a new bottom bracket installed after i made a botched repair of my own and stripped the threads. So i installed a temporary bottom bracket that screws in at both ends from ebay. I think it was plainly obvious to the staff that i was inexperienced with bicycle mechanics. After a bill for £90 and many thanks i got the bike home to find that the bottom bracket had not been replaced or rethreaded and my temporary one was still installed. They did how ever replace the brake cables which i had asked to be replaced. Which was nice.
