rude racist staff, avoid all money from those money grabbers

Literally the rudest most unhelpful staff I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. The guy that usually works on the main till actually seems to take pleasure in being deliberately awkward and hindering the customer. This is not just one time, but in fact every time I go there. Last time I was told by the cashier that they "don't do proof of postage anymore" despite being a Post Office. I left in disgust and went to another PO. The guy should be sacked.

Easter Saturday

Your website advises that your open up to 2pm.
So I take the bus especially just to post out 2 parcels that had to absolutely to go out today.
Turn up at 1:35pm only to find the 2nd auto door locked with customers inside.
When they are let out I am advised byva staff memeber that they are shut (at 1:35pm). I point out that their Web site advise's of a 2pm close so to me, that means they are accepting customers up to 2pm.
I got rudely turned away along with another 5 customers. So i ended walking the streets of Palmers Green with 2 parcels under my arms.
Not customer orientated or focused.
Will I be returning here ......I'd rather go 3 miles out my way next time.

Incompetent staff that lack manners and deem their personal calls far more important then serving their customers. Expect to queue even if you're the only customer.

I like this post office as it is convenient. However after the last refurbishment the quality of service has suffered. Even.when.there is no queue you always wait to be served.
I feel that there is a plethora of merchandise in the premises that makes it quite crowded and untidy.

Staff is polite and helpful. Working hours - longer than anywhere else, very convenient for working people.

I tried to send a box of chocolates to the USA today and the asssitant did not allow me because they were liquor chocolates (M&S Cherry Chcolates). I send my mum these chocolates every year, for Christmas. I thought maybe it was a new restriction so I checked the Royal Mail website for international restrictions. Nothing about food containing alcohol, obviously there were restrictions for alcoholic beverages (24% and above) but you can even send a bottle of alcoholic drink that had 23% or less, let alone a box of chocolates with an extremely low percentage and quantity of alcohol.
What upset me the most was his attitude! He was rude, dismissive and made me feel like I was trying to send an illegal substance.
