Looking forward to introducing our monthly 'pop up' outside our Jesmond Deli/Mezze Bar this Sunday, 23.06!
We will be cooking outside from 10am - 3pm and will be charcoal grilling some pork souvlaki, shawarma, house ground kofta and veggies. All in the obligatory fresh flatbread! The perfect mediterranean bbq!
We will also be serving a lovely squid with fermented harissa, spice roasted peanuts and chilli side dish for all you fish lovers!
... Alcohol will be served inside our lovely deli so fingers crossed the summer hits early!

Initially looking for summer staff, based in our Whitley Bay restaurant, with a view for a more permanent position. Working along side a great team, in a busy local restaurant, you will be serving food, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times. It is fast paced and fun and you will be paid higher than the minimum wage. Previous experience preferred but not essential. We also need flexible applicants as hours can vary from open - close shifts.

Key responsibilities: Maintaining high standards of hygiene Preparing the ingredients for a more senior chef Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation

Think street food, wine and sunshine (fingers crossed!)
... With the weather becoming more sociable we feel it’s time to roll out old school Ganoush. Wraps, fries and salads is the order of the day and we hope you lovely lot will join us!
Going forward we want more street food traders to “pop up” once a month at Jesmond to make this corner of NE2 a foodie hub! (Get in touch!)
We are going to be open as normal and payments will be made inside the deli, along with coffees and the lovely Meacha to welcome you all too.

Good evening all!
A quick announcement about our Jesmond place!
As of tomorrow (14.05.19) we have decided to suspend the sales of Shawarma and Falafel wraps - the decision has been made due to logistics.
... We feel we cannot deliver the same product as our Street Food ventures due to the limitations to the building we currently occupy, however, we have decided that some work is needed to enhance the overall experience and menu.
Within the next few weeks we will be installing a new kitchen which will mean that the indoor seating area will be sacrificed. We are going to focus on outdoor seating and, specifically, a takeaway experience that echoes the our street food offering plus MORE!
We will still be offering the very popular Salad/Mezze Boxes; of course.
