One my Favourite water both the balif and the owner really nice, I really appreciate them letting me fish there as only 14. I spoke to people on back who doing social and one who fishes all round the country and said it’s best in country which I can agree. Clear swims good size cats and carp.

Hi I returned to carp fishing last autumn after 12 years on the rivers barbel fishing , found par this year and started walking the banks in March first trip in April managed to catch a few with some help from a guy called Terry , I now fish every week it's a great venue and most sessions see plenty of action all the anglers are friendly and Bill and team are 1st class looking forward to my next trip Rob.

Fished the front lake and ended up reeling in for a couple of hours sleep at one point, definitely worth the drive from Newcastle.

Fished here today for the first time, owner very friendly and passionate! Also takes the time you talk to you, beautiful venue, shame I blanked but that’s fishing! I shall be returning soon.

A great fishery. Very well run with a lot of effort put in from the owner. I first fished there about 16 years ago when there was only about 3 trees on the bank and grass lawn all the way around. It's matured into a great looking lake now. The swims are well looked after and the whole place is now tree lined. I've had carp to 29lb 2oz out the back lake and more 20's than I can count out the front lake. Most of them being commons. For those doing a few nights there is a list of takeaways which deliver to the car park gate.

Although I blanked this time, I'm very happy with how the lake is set up and how it's run. I especially like that the owner doesn't allow over crowding and enforces a maximum anglers per lake limit.

Looking forward to many a more sessions and hopefully a few bends in the rod :)
